For the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, the Team Great Britain divers will compete in their first event — Men’s Synchronized 10m Platform event — on Monday, August 8th.
“After the last Olympics, I didn’t want to dive again,” Tom revealed recently. “I had the biggest post-Games slump you can imagine. I just never wanted to set foot on a diving board so doing something different and mixing it up really helped me.”
He added, “Even now, going into the Olympics, I have cut lots of things back but I like to do other things like cooking classes and Spanish classes. I end up thinking a bit too much about diving so I need to keep my busy mind occupied.”
