Allison Holker Talks About Her Love for the 'Famous Dances' Theme in Her 'Dancing With the Stars' Week Six Blog!

Dancing With the Stars pro Allison Holker will be writing a blog and sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes photos every week for in anticipation of the Monday night shows!

Read her week 6 blog here:

“I am absolutely in LOVE with this week’s theme – ‘Famous Dances’! The dance I was given was ‘Good Morning’ from the musical Singing in the Rain. This is one of my ultimate favorite classics of all time, I grew up watching this film on replay with my mother Nikki. I adore the choreography, singing and characters that Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, and Donald O’Connor played.

I’ve looked to Gene and Debbie as two of my dance icons and I am so honored to have the chance to pay tribute to them. I really want everyone to watch this number and feel pure JOY, just like you feel when you watch the original. Dance is supposed to bring smiles and happiness and hopefully this dance does just that. This is one of the moments of my career that I will never forget. Feeling blessed to be a woman who gets a chance to live out my dreams.”

Hope Solo Responds to Former 'DWTS' Partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Throws Major Shade

Soccer player Hope Solo is seemingly throwing some shade at her former Dancing with the Stars partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The 35-year-old dancer was partnered with Hope, 34, in the 2011 season of the dance competition show, and recently called her a “sh–ty person” in an interview.

Hope retorted by tweeting a photo of DWTS judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and judge Len Goodman holding up “1″ scores on their panel. Shade! See the photo below.

Maksim and Hope came in fourth place on the show.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy Slams Hope Solo, Calls Her 'Sh--ty'

Maksim Chmerkovskiy has nothing nice to say about his former Dancing With the Stars partner Hope Solo, who he was partnered with during season 13 in September 2011.

The duo came in fourth place, but they did not get along throughout the season and Hope accused Maksim of slapping her in the face during a rehearsal.

When asked to play a game of “F–k, Marry, Kill” during an interview on the “Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss” podcast, Maksim was given his former dance partners as options.

“I would probably marry… somebody like, Misty May-Treanor was awesome. And she’s an amazing chick,” he said. “And I would definitely kill Hope Solo.”

“She’s just a sh–ty person,” Maksim added. “People can be bad or good or whatever. You can have a sh–ty life growing up. You can have a tough upbringing. You can have history. You can have whatever. But if you are just a bad person, you know what I mean? There’s no excuse for that.”
