Daniel Craig Shuts Down Reporter's Request for Him to Pout

If you ever run into Daniel Craig, make sure not to ask him to pout for you. One reporter made that wrong move and got shut down during a recent interview.

While being interviewed on ITV’s This Morning, the 47-year-old actor was asked to do the “Daniel Craig pout” and he seemed confused by what he was being asked.

After the reporter continued and even demonstrated the pout, Daniel said “I think you need to move on.”

Daniel Craig Doesn't Really Care What He Looks Like

Daniel Craig carries a backpack while running errands on Wednesday (October 21) in London, England.

The 47-year-old Spectre actor recently opened up about whether he cares about his appearance, as his character James Bond does.

“The best acting is when you’re not concerned about the surface. And Bond is the opposite of that,” Daniel told TimeOut. “You have to be bothered about how you’re looking. It’s a struggle. I know that how Bond wears a suit and walks into a room is important. But as an actor I don’t want to give a f-ck about what I look like! So I have to play with both things. In a way that works, as that’s Bond: he looks good and he doesn’t give a f-ck what you think he looks like!”

Daniel Craig & David Oyelowo Will Do 'Othello' Off-Broadway!

Daniel Craig and David Oyelowo are set to team up together for a new Off-Broadway production of the classic Shakespeare play Othello.

The play will be produced at the New York Theatre Workshop and more casting will be announced at a later date.

“This production is an opportunity for New York Theatre Workshop to do what it aspires to do – to foster the growth and accomplishment of the artists we believe in,” artistic director James C. Nicola said in a statement (via Deadline). “When Sam Gold, a longstanding member of our NYTW Usual Suspects community, came to us with the beginning sketches of this production, with these two sublime actors, it seemed the perfect next step for us to take together. I’m eager to see what these original, creative artists come up with in response to Shakespeare’s enduring tragedy.”

Daniel has starred on Broadway in the plays Betrayal and A Steady Rain in recent years while David is a veteran to the stage in England.

Daniel Craig Visits Cyprus for Role as UN Global Advocate

Daniel Craig is given a first-hand look at an active minefield during a visit to Cyprus on Tuesday (October 13).

The 47-year-old actor visited the country as his first visit for his role as the United Nations Global Advocate for the Elimination of Mines and Explosive Hazards.

“Witnessing the potential impact that mines can have on people and communities, years after the end of conflict, brings home the humanitarian importance of the UN’s de-mining efforts in Cyprus,” Daniel said.

Daniel praised the work of UN peacekeepers, who have been doing the risky task of manual demining and explosive ordnance disposal.

“For these peacekeepers to take their expertise, gleaned over the last 40 years in Cambodia, and make it available to the people of Cyprus, half-way around the world, is truly inspiring,” Daniel added.

Ellen Pompeo Says Daniel Craig 'Needs a Reality Check' After Bond Comments

Ellen Pompeo is speaking out after Daniel Craig made comments about never wanting to play James Bond again.

After seeing our article on the actor’s comments, Ellen tweeted, “This dude needs a reality check.”

Some of Ellen‘s fans reminded her that there’s a chance the original outlet could have embellished his quotes. “You are absolutely right! I certainly have been there,” she replied.

When another fan said that media sometimes twists stories, Ellen said, “Yes they do #smart girl!”

Daniel Craig Would Rather Slit His Wrists Than Do Another James Bond Movie

Daniel Craig just gave a very candid interview with TimeOut, where he got graphic about his desire to leave the James Bond franchise.

“Look, I don’t give a f–k. Good luck to them,” the 47-year-old actor said about the next James Bond actor. “All I care about is that if I stop doing these things we’ve left it in a good place and people pick it up and make it better.”

When asked if he would sign on for another 007 film, Daniel said he would rather harm himself.

“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” Daniel continued. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.” If he did take on the role, “it would only be for the money.”

His advice for the next Bond? “Don’t be s–t. You’ve got to step up. People do not make movies like this any more. This is really rare now. So don’t be s–t.”
