Daniel Craig Would Rather Slit His Wrists Than Do Another James Bond Movie

Daniel Craig just gave a very candid interview with TimeOut, where he got graphic about his desire to leave the James Bond franchise.

“Look, I don’t give a f–k. Good luck to them,” the 47-year-old actor said about the next James Bond actor. “All I care about is that if I stop doing these things we’ve left it in a good place and people pick it up and make it better.”

When asked if he would sign on for another 007 film, Daniel said he would rather harm himself.

“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” Daniel continued. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.” If he did take on the role, “it would only be for the money.”

His advice for the next Bond? “Don’t be s–t. You’ve got to step up. People do not make movies like this any more. This is really rare now. So don’t be s–t.”

Daniel Craig Gets Into Action in Final 'Spectre' Trailer

Daniel Craig is fully loaded while blasting into action in the final trailer for his upcoming James Bond 007 movie Spectre!

Here is the film’s official synopsis: A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.

Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot.

As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks, played by Christoph Waltz.

Daniel Craig Publicly Supports Bernie Sanders for President

Daniel Craig looks super fit while stepping out for lunch on Thursday (September 10) in Bel-Air, Calif.

The 47-year-old Spectre actor has publicly shown his support for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders by donating $47,300 to a “super PAC” that supports the politician.

While Daniel made the donation to support the candidate, the Center for Public Integrity reports that he may have been duped by the PAC as there have been reports the money is not being used properly.

Daniel‘s rep confirmed he made the donation “in good faith” to support his favorite candidate.

“Currently, I have been informed of no evidence to question that my donation has not been used as intended. Should that situation occur, then clearly, I will review my position,” Daniel said in a statement.

Daniel Craig on 'Spectre': 'It's Skyfall Times Ten!'

Daniel Craig looks so handsome on the cover of Esquire UK‘s October 2015 issue, on newsstands now.

Here’s what the 47-year-old Spectre star had to share with the mag:

On how his Bond differs from earlier incarnations: “No disrespect to what happened before but this is completely different. Because I don’t know any other way to do it. However big and grand it is you look for the truth in it and you stick to that… and if you can have that and you have the car chases and the explosions as well, you’re quids in.”

On his feelings about James Bond: “I don’t know if I’d like to spend too much time with him. Maybe an evening but it would have to be early doors. What goes on after hours I’m not so sure about.”

On Spectre: “It’s Skyfall times ten! A celebration of all that is Bond.”

Read the full interview in the Esquire‘s October 2015 issue, on sale now. It’s also available as a digital edition!

Daniel Craig Shares His Hangover Cure & Thoughts on the Next James Bond!

Daniel Craig gets his closeup on the cover of DuJour‘s latest issue.

Here’s what the 47-year-old Spectre actor had to share with the mag:

On if he cares who plays James Bond next: “No!”

On his hangover cure: “There’s this thing called Pedialyte. If you wake up in the morning and you’ve got one of those on standby and you down the whole lot…you can carry on drinking! I was told that’s what Mark swears by. It’s the difference between life and death as far as I’m concerned.”

On doing his own stunts: “You always get nervous a bit. There was this part where I’d f*cked up my knee halfway through shooting, which curtailed a lot of the serious action stuff. I’m so f*cking gung ho about wanting to do every stunt I can, I had to ask ‘What can I do, and what can’t I do?’”
