Jonathan Van Ness is attempting to groom David Letterman!

The Queer Eye star and the host of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman met up at a barber shop to discuss self-care and personal identity.

During their conversation, Jonathan explained what it means to be gender non-binary, and they also discussed the Stonewall riots, and what progress for LGBTQ rights looks like 50 years later.

They also discussed late night TV in 2019, and David shares advice on the art of the interview.

Joanna Gaines is opening up about celebrity crush!

The 41-year-old Fixer Upper star recently took to her Instagram Story to share that husband Chip Gaines once asked her who her celeb crush was – and she revealed it was David Letterman.

“True story, when Chip and I were dating he asked me who my celebrity crush was,” Joanna shared along with a photo of the 72-year-old former late night host in her Magnolia’s headquarters in Waco, Texas. “I quickly answered and said @letterman. This story justifies taking this picture for sure.”

David hasn’t responded to Joanna‘s confession yet!

Kanye West is speaking out in defense of people who support Donald Trump.

The 41-year-old rapper sat down for an interview with David Letterman on an upcoming episode of Netflix‘s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman, which premieres on Friday (May 31).

“This is like my thing with Trump — we don’t have to feel the same way, but we have the right to feel what we feel,” he explained during the interview.

He also said that him wearing the red MAGA hat (Make America Great Again, Trump‘s slogan) is “not about politics” but rather to break the stigma of supporting Trump.

Kanye said that people are “treated like enemies of America because that’s what they felt.”

“Have you ever been beat up in your high school for wearing the wrong hat?” he said during the interview at one point.

When asked who the real bullies are in America at the moment, Kanye said: “Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters!”

David Letterman is stopping by Ellen for the first time ever!

The 71-year-old host stopped by the show to promote the new season of Netflix show My Next Guest – and revealed the time he was convinced he was going to spend his life in prison.

During his interview, David shared the time that he and Ellen producer Mary – who worked on the Late Show with him for 10 years – were once playing catch on the 14th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, and a baseball broke the glass and flew down to the crowds of pedestrians on 6th Avenue.

“Well how many are dead?” David jokes. “So I’m stunned and I go over to where the window is and I’m just kind of hiding and looking down there…and people were looking up because shards of glass had rain down on the Avenue of America. And I see a guy down there point up and go, ‘Oh hey there’s David Letterman!’ and I just thought I was spending the rest of my life in prison.”

“I don’t have a show, so lemme just come out and ruin yours,” David Letterman expressed during his return to his old stomping grounds on Late Night on Wednesday (May 23).

The 71-year-old entertainer was in attendance to promote his Netflix show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, but ended up joking about President Trump and gifting Seth Meyers a live tick.

“I got something for you, buddy,” David said, before bringing out a Ziplock bag containing the pest he plucked off his back. “Anybody here have Lyme disease? I’m doing this to promote epidemiological health and awareness because the Lyme disease and the ticks are everywhere. I’ve had Lyme disease… probably got it now!”

In a preview of the upcoming interview, Jay-Z discusses a recent interaction he had with Blue.

“I told her to get in the car the other day because she was asking a thousand questions and we had to leave for school…I just hear a little voice [say], ‘Dad, I didn’t like the way you told me to get in the car the way you told me’ — she’s six — ‘It hurt my feelings.’”

“That was the most beautiful thing you’ve ever said to me,” Jay exclaimed.
