Hit & Run is a comedy about a reformed getaway driver who decides to compromise his new identity to rescue his girlfriend.

Kristen Bell and her longtime love Dax Shepard attend a screening of their film Hit & Run held during the GenArt Summer Screening Series on Wednesday (July 25) at the Tribeca Cinemas in New York City.

The film is about former getaway driver Charlie Bronson (Shepard), who jeopardizes his Witness Protection Plan identity in order to help his girlfriend (Bell) get to Los Angeles. The feds and Charlie’s former gang chase them on the road.

Hit & Run, which also stars Bradley Cooper and Kristin Chenoweth, hits theaters on August 24.

Kristen Bell (in Vanessa Bruno) and Dax Shepard attend a screening of their upcoming film Hit & Run at the Downtown Independent Theatre on Wednesday (June 27) in Los Angeles.

The on-and-off screen couple was joined by their co-stars, Tom Arnold and Joy Bryant, for a question and answer session following the screening, which was sponsored by GenArt, Vikingfjord Vodka, and Brancott Estate Wines.
