Reese Witherspoon had a fun-filled day with her family on the Fourth of July!

The 43-year-old Big Little Lies actress was joined by her husband Jim Toth, 49, and her kids Ava Phillippe, 19, Deacon Phillippe, 15, and Tennessee Toth, 6.

“Hats off to a great week with family!” Reese captioned an Instagram video of herself and Tennessee having fun at an outdoor event. “Wishing everyone a happy 4th of July! 💥🇺🇸.”

“How did I let you talk me into this @deaconphillippe ?!” Reese wrote along with another video of herself and Deacon Phillippe jumping off a boat into the water as she lets out a scream.

“Good news: I survived!” she added in her Stories. “Bad news: I have a gallon of sea water in my nose.”

Ava Phillippe and Deacon Phillippe enjoy some sibling bonding time at Cinespia’s screening of the 1987 cult classic The Lost Boys!

The 18-year-old daughter and the 14-year-old son of Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe teamed up for the sold-out event, presented by Amazon Studios, on Saturday night (July 14) in Los Angeles.

Ava wore a yellow and blue floral dress with a black leather jacket, an assortment of jewelry, and bold red lipstick, while Deacon sported his Philadelphia 76ers sweatshirt and grey sneakers.

They were joined by Rowan Blanchard, Dita Von Tesse, Josh Groban, Tommy Dorfman, Amandla Stenberg, Stella Hudgens, Taylor Bagley, and more.

The Weeknd (not pictured) was also in attendance to catch the screening after checking out DJ Myles Hendrik’s set. The whole group was on their feet and singing when he played Guns N’ Roses’ classic “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

The 41-year-old Oscar-winning actress shared the photo on her Instagram account that night, along with a shot of her kids Ava, Deacon, and Tennessee posing with some other young family members.

“From our family to yours… Merry Christmas everybody! ❤️ #ChristmasEve,” Reese captioned the pics.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe‘s son Deacon is turning 14 today (October 23) and the proud parents took to Instagram to wish their son a happy birthday!

“Happy Birthday @deaconphillippe! 🎈Fourteen years ago you came into my life, and have made me laugh and smile everyday since. I love your kind heart and your joyful, adventurous spirit. Hope you have the best day ever!!🌟Love, Mom �’�,” Reese wrote on Instagram.

“happy birthday to my prince, my padawan, my co-pilot, my teammate, & my heart… i luv u, 🌞,” Ryan added on his account.

Deacon‘s older sister Ava took to Instagram to share a photo from the day he was born. “#14 years ago today!! Happy birthday, @deaconphillippe! Congrats on being way cooler at 14 than I am at 18. I’m so lucky to have you around. Love you so much, and I hope you have an awesome day! ❤️🎉🎂,” she wrote.

Reese Witherspoon and her oldest son Deacon went on their annual “adventure trip” this summer but one thing didn’t go according to plan!

The 41-year-old actress explained that while the duo was kayaking during a camping expedition in northern Canada, they totally flipped the boat into icy waters.

“We went kayaking in this glacier water and the water’s freezing cold…and they said ‘There’s no way you can roll this kayak, it’s literally unrollable,” Reese explained on The Ellen Show.

She added, “What did I do five minutes into it? Rolled us right into the water! Ran right into a tree, grabbed it, and flipped us into the water…and started screaming. But it was really funny!”

Thankfully everyone was okay and there was a nearby guide to assist!

The 41-year-old Big Little Lies star stepped out in an umbrella-print dress from her own Draper James collection while running errands on Thursday (June 29) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Reese completed her look with a navy and white straw hat, a straw bag with red, white, and blue handles, and matching straw wedges. (It looks like she’s ready for Fourth of July weekend!)

On Friday, Reese took to Instagram to share an adorable pic of the boys on Tennessee‘s last day of school before the summer.

The 41-year-old Oscar-winning actress shared photos and videos from the fishing trip on her Instagram Stories.

Reese and Deacon bundled up in matching red jumpsuits and jackets and they successfully caught some fish!
