Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy is opening up about the upcoming blockbuster.

The Night at the Museum director was working on the movie, which features the return of the iconic character Wolverine, with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman until the SAG-AFTRA strike put the production on pause.

In a new interview, Shawn weighed in on if the movie was still on track for its May 3 release date. He also addressed whispers that Taylor Swift was set to join the cast in an exciting role.

Jennifer Garner is getting into superhuman strength following a rumor that she was reprising a very iconic role in Deadpool 3.

Before the SAG-AFTRA strike put the movie, which stars Ryan Gosling and Hugh Jackman, on pause, there was a report that Jennifer would be playing Elektra again alongside the actors.

It would mark her first time suiting up as the sai-wielding assassin since starring in Elektra in 2005. Prior to that, she made her debut in the role in 2003′s Daredevil, which also starred ex Ben Affleck.

Ryan Reynolds is back in action!

The 46-year-old actor was seen costume for the very first time on set of Deadpool 3 on Thursday (July 6) in the woods outside of London, England.

Ryan chatted with a crew member before putting on his mask and filming a car crash scene.

The original Deadpool, which was released back in 2016, follows a wisecracking mercenary who gets experimented on and becomes immortal but ugly, and sets out to track down the man who ruined his looks.

Back in September 2022, Ryan announced that Hugh Jackman will be reprising his X-Men role as Wolverine for the new movie.

Since then, several more stars have been added to the cast.

Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool 3 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.
