Demi Burnett, who is good friends with Cassie Randolph, who is Colton‘s ex and the winner of his season, was asked who she thinks Colton should date.

Demi Burnett, a former Bachelor contestant who competed on Colton Underwood‘s season, is accusing Reality Steve, well known for his Bachelor Nation scoop, of an “unwanted and unprompted sexual advance.”

The Bachelor in Paradise star wrote about a “graphic sex dream” he allegedly once told her about.

Demi Burnett is addressing her social media controversy.

This week, a photo surfaced online of the 25-year-old former The Bachelor contestant wearing a jacket that had a Confederate flag on it.

On Tuesday (February 16), Demi took to Twitter to share a few videos where she apologized for wearing the jacket.

“F–k it. People are telling me I shouldn’t say anything, I’m going to say something about this,” Demi started. “So, there’s been this picture that’s been resurfaced of me wearing a jacket that had a Confederate flag on it. That jacket was given to me by my ex, his dad actually gave it to me, and I had no idea the weight that the Confederate flag held whenever I was wearing it.”

“I just wore it for that one night, and it was a Yeezy jacket,” Demi continued, referencing Kanye West‘s fashion brand. “I thought it was so cool. I was like, ‘Yeah, Yeezy.’ I didn’t even pay attention to that.”

Demi then went on to say that she was “ignorant” for wearing the jacket.

“That’s ignorance,” Demi said. “That’s ignorant of me not to pay attention to the Confederate flag. Even more ignorant of me to not even know how harmful that is to people.”

At the end of the first video, Demi admitted that she “royally f–ked up wearing that,” adding that she’s “so f–king sorry.”

Demi first appeared as a contestant on Colton Underwood‘s season of The Bachelor in 2019. She then appeared on Bachelor in Paradise that summer where she made history by being in the franchise’s first same-sex couple with Kristian Haggerty. The two announced their separation a few months later.

In the second video, Demi admitted that she’s been “an ignorant, self-absorbed sack of s**t for most of my life.”

“I genuinely had no idea what I was representing by wearing the jacket. I have no excuses, other than ignorant, self-absorbed sack of s–t,” Demi said. “Disgusted with myself. I suck for that. I suck very badly for that. I know better now. Did not know better then.”

Demi ended her video by encouraging her followers to “be better than me.”

“Don’t look up to me. Look up to being better than me, ’cause I f**king suck and I really f**king hate myself for being ignorant,” Demi concluded. “This is the time to change the world, make it better and I made it worse. So I’m really, really sorry.”

Demi‘s apology comes a few days after The Bachelor host Chris Harrison announced he was going to step away from the franchise for a “period of time” amid a racism controversy.

Demi Burnett, who appeared on Colton Underwood‘s season of The Bachelor as well as the subsequent season of Bachelor in Paradise, revealed that Ruby Rose slid into her DMs after she came out during BIP.

“She DMed me one time and I almost died,” Demi said on an episode of “We’re Having Gay Sex” podcast. “It was really funny, because she said, ‘Hey,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, she’s sliding in.’ I was like, ‘This is it.’”

“I was like, ‘Hi, what’s up’ or something and she said, ‘Sup.’ I was actually doing something cool, but it wasn’t that cool, but I made it sound like it,” she added. “She’s like, ‘I was just messaging you because Demi Lovato told me too.’ I was like, ‘Oh,’ because me and Demi Lovato are good friends, and Demi knows I’m obsessed with her, so Demi was probably like, ‘You should DM her, she’s going to love it.’ I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh. I thought she was hitting on me.’”

Demi Burnett, a former contestant on Colton Underwood‘s season of The Bachelor, is good friends with his ex Cassie Randolph, and she was asked about the reason why they broke up.

“I probably asked her like 50 times, ‘Why’d you guys break up?’ She would not talk about it. She is so respectful of that privacy they had,” Demi said on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast. “She had nothing bad to say about him. She cried at one point and she was just like, ‘It’s really hard.’ I know she cares about him so much. I don’t even know what happened.”

If you don’t know, Colton and Cassie announced their breakup in May of 2020. She briefly spoke about their relationship, but did not reveal any details, during one of ABC’s Bachelor specials.

Things took a turn when Colton got upset and Cassie called him out for trying to “monetize” their split.

“I think that’s ridiculous because she didn’t even say anything about the relationship at all,” Demi added. “I think he was just, like, being petty and trying to get a reaction out of her. But, I was really proud of her for what she said on her [Instagram] Story.”

Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty are separating.

The Bachelor In Paradise stars, who became the first same-sex couple in the show’s history, made the announcement on Thursday (October 31).

“What has always been at the forefront of our relationship is love and care for one another. Our priority is doing what is best for us. With a heavy heart full of love for one another we have decided it is best for us to take a step back from our relationship. We ultimately want what is best for us in the long run and for us right now, that means being apart and growing individually,” they said in a joint statement on social media.

“We have felt so much love and support from you all as you’ve followed our journey together and for that we are grateful. We will forever be proud of the impact our love story has made and we hope it has helped others feel more accepted and confident within themselves. We hope it reminded others they aren’t alone and don’t need to be ashamed of who they are. And we hope it shows that two people can love one another in different ways and for us right now that is apart. But we remain committed to encouraging each other, supporting each other and continuing forward in a way best for us.”
