Demi Lovato Calls Out Rudy Giuliani After He Explains The Compromising 'Borat' Scene

Rudy Giuliani has attempted to explain the scene in Borat 2 by releasing a statement on his social media account.

If you don’t know, the 76-year-old politician was pictured and filmed in a compromising situation in the movie in which he is pictured with actress Maria Bakalova, who plays Borat’s daughter, Tutar, in a bedroom to have a drink.

The scene continues as he asks for her name and address, and the camera captures Maria reaching into his shirt to retrieve his microphone as he gives her a pat on the back. When she turns away, Rudy lies down on the bed and reaches into his pants.

“The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment,” Rudy explained on Twitter. “At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.”

Many Twitter users have called him out on the statement, including singer Demi Lovato.

“So you normally drink with reporters, follow them to the bedroom and then lie on the bed and let her take off your mic for you?” she asked in her tweet. “I guess I’ve been doin my interviews all wrong…”

Borat 2 is set to be released on Amazon Prime on Friday, October 23.

We could care less what you post about politics but this song is going [too] far especially when the majority of your family is Republican. I’m personally ashamed to be a Lovatic right now but no matter how hard it is I’m not letting this song change my feelings about you especially after everything you have helped me with. I really hope this doesn’t ruin your career Demetria.”
