Jane Seymour Calls Out 'Glow & Darkness' Producers After Being Replaced With a Another Actress To Play Her Character in Flashbacks

Jane Seymour wasn’t happy with some of the producers on her upcoming limited series, Glow & Darkness.

The nearly 70-year-old actress revealed in a new interview that she was originally supposed to play the same role at all the ages, starting at 25.

However, Jane learned that before she could film any of the scenes at the younger age range for Eleanor of Aquitaine, another actress was cast.

“They told me that only I was going to play myself at 25, but before I even got round to doing it, the day before, without telling me, they found another actress to play me at 25,” she tells The Times.

Jane added that it was “something I really don’t understand at all because believe it or not, and you can see on Instagram, they don’t even need to do the facial stuff on me. It works just fine.”

Joan Collins is 87 and she’s supposed to be playing a woman who dies at 40,” she added about her co-star.

Glow & Darkness, also starring Denise Richards, focuses on the life of Saint Francis of Assisi, while also bringing in other historical figures including Joan‘s Adelaide of Maurienne, Richard the Lionheart, and and Pope Urban II.

The series is expected to debut on Netflix next year.

Andy Cohen Reveals Real Reason Why Denise Richards Left 'Real Housewives'

Denise Richards will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after two seasons on the hit Bravo reality show.

Now, Bravo’s Andy Cohen is speaking out about why she is no longer participating on the hit reality show and what caused her shocking exit.

“I’m just sad we couldn’t reach an agreement for next season,” Andy said on PeopleTV‘s Reality Check. “I’m kind of living in that sadness.”

“We were negotiating a deal with her and we couldn’t reach an agreement on the deal,” he explained.

A source spoke out about another reason why Denise decided to leave the show amid the drama she was faced with in recent weeks.

Stay tuned as we learn more about this situation.

Here's Why Denise Richards is Leaving 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'

A source is speaking about what Denise Richards has planned after Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

It was announced on Wednesday (September 9) that the 49-year-old actress had decided to leave the reality show after two seasons.

Now that she won’t be on the show, a source says Denise has a lot of family time planned now that her schedule has opened up.

“Denise is excited to be home from Spain with her husband and children. Filming in Spain has been wonderful as the only pot being stirred is their incredible Spanish food,” the source shared with People.

Denise recently returned home to California after spending the last few weeks filming her upcoming medieval drama series Glow And Darkness in Madrid.

“The Bold and the Beautiful is her second concurrent acting gig so she was looking to replace RHOBH with time loving her amazing husband, children and who knows, maybe even friends now,” the source added. “She took her 3 productions down to 2 so now she can enjoy her family more as well.”

Denise and husband Aaron Phypers just recently celebrated two years of marriage. They share adopted daughter Eloise, 9, and she shares daughters Sam, 16, and Lola, 15, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

Andy Cohen just recently addressed the possibility of this star joining RHOBH.

Denise Richards is Leaving 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' After Two Seasons

Denise Richards‘ time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has come to an end.

A representative for the 49-year-old actress revealed to Variety that she will not be returning for the next season.

Denise‘s exit doesn’t come as too big of a surprise as the 10th season saw Denise often having to defend herself against her fellow cast mates, as well as former cast member Brandi Glanville, who claimed she slept with Denise, even though she is married. Denise has adamantly denied Brandi‘s claims.

As of right now, Denise has not publicly address her decision to leave the show.

Denise has been on RHOBH for two seasons, after joining in 2018.

Brandi Glanville alleged that she hooked up with Denise Richards one night and now, she’s providing a text message receipt to try and convince those who are doubting her. You can check out Brandi‘s full recount of what happened here.

“I went and I was going to get my own [hotel] room, but Denise said, ‘No just stay here. It’s fine. I’ll get you a rollaway bed. There was no rollaway bed. … And so I just slept in the bed with Denise,” Brandi said during an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I don’t want you guys to judge me. … I’m bisexual, everyone knows that. My kids know that. I was uncomfortable. The kids were downstairs and we were in the loft and there was no door. And I just couldn’t get into it.”

On Sunday (July 26), Brandi tweeted, “Listen to my podcast from Friday & you’ll know why Denise asked me to specifically say I was staying at the hotel across the way when I wasn’t! It’s because her daughter had a friend with her & she didn’t want the parents of the friend to know that I was staying in the room!!”

Denise is married to Aaron Phypers and she has previously responded to open marriage rumors.

Brandi Glanville Details Alleged Hookup with Denise Richards

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode everyone had been waiting for finally arrived – Brandi Glanville detailed her alleged hookup with Denise Richards, which has been rumored for months.

During Wednesday night’s episode, Brandi dished her side of the story of the night her and Denise allegedly got together.

“I just think you guys need to be careful with her because she’s not who she pretends to be. What you see is not what you get,” Brandi told Kim Richards, Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp. “Apparently she doesn’t like anyone. She doesn’t like [Lisa] Rinna either. She’s like, ‘Erika is a coldhearted bitch.’ But then she’s around you guys and she’s like, ‘Why do they all want to fight with me?’”

“I saw her in April and then I didn’t see her again until your party and some s—t went down over those nine months that was — it’s really f—king bad,” Brandi said. “I had been out with her and [her husband] Aaron [Phypers] and I knew that they have, like, an understanding, like she could be with girls if she wanted to. … The first night we met, something happened.”

Then, Brandi revealed Denise invited her up to Northern California for a night in a hotel. Denise‘s 5-year-old daughter and one of her friends were also on this trip.

“I went and I was going to get my own room, but Denise said, ‘No just stay here. It’s fine. I’ll get you a rollaway bed. There was no rollaway bed. … And so I just slept in the bed with Denise,” Brandi continued.

“I don’t want you guys to judge me. … I’m bisexual, everyone knows that. My kids know that. I was uncomfortable. The kids were downstairs and we were in the loft and there was no door. And I just couldn’t get into it. The next day, Denise said to me, ‘No matter what you do, you just can’t tell Aaron. He will kill me.’ And I’m like, ‘What the f**k is happening right now?’” Brandi added.

“I went in very naïve, I think, the very first season. I want to be myself, because some people do know of me and I didn’t want to play a character, otherwise let’s call it scripted. So I just wanted to be myself on the show, and you know, whatever happens happens, and just react how I really would,” she said of filming.

“My first season I had a great time getting to know all the women, and it was fun to be able to — you know, we get to go to fabulous restaurants and trips, and I had fun with them, and I genuinely formed some great friendships,” she went on to say, adding that the following season has been different.

“It’s been a different experience…but, you know, people are watching, so that’s good.”

As has been previously reported, Brandi Glanville claims that she had an affair with Denise, which Denise has denied. The scenario has not yet played out on TV.

“If it airs the way it was shot, then people will see what happened,” she said of the sitaution.

“We wrapped for the season and then we do all our confessionals and everything,” she went on to say of the show’s production.

“I think that we’re on hiatus because we got so far behind with the confessionals with the COVID. We just recently started doing them where we’re filming ourselves basically. We have someone come in and set everything up with a mask…so we got behind for that. So I think that’s part of the reason why we have to go on hiatus. We gotta catch up with the episodes.”
