Viola Davis, Gina Rodriguez & More Help Honor Colin Kaepernick at ACLU Bill of Rights Dinner 2017!

Viola Davis is all smiles while posing alongside her hubby Julius Tennon on the red carpet at the 2017 ACLU SoCal Hosts Bill of Rights Dinner held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Sunday (December 3) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 52-year-old How To Get Away with Murder star was also joined at the event by Gina Rodriguez, Jane Fonda, Billy Eichner, Will Poulter, Andra Day, Common, Diane Warren, Judd Apatow, Andrea Navedo and Lilly Singh.

Colin Kaepernick was honored at the event with the Eason Monroe Courageous Advocate Award.

“We all have an obligation no matter the risk, and regardless of reward, to stand up for our fellow men and women who are being oppressed with the understanding that human rights cannot be compromised,” Colin told the crowd while accepting the award (via LA Times).

Mudbound's Mary J. Blige & Garrett Hedlund Get Glam for InStyle's Golden Globes 2018 Event

Mudbound co-stars Mary J. Blige and Garrett Hedlund are looking sharp on the red carpet!

The actors were photographed during the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and InStyle’s Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards at Catch LA on Wednesday (November 15) in West Hollywood, Calif.

A star-studded lineup of performers hit the stage to entertain the crowd at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Patron of the Artists Awards on Thursday (November 9) at the Wallis Annenberg Center of the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Kristen Bell performed “Just a Spare,” a deleted song from her animated film Frozen and Sara Bareilles sang her original song “If I Dare” from the new movie Battle of the Sexes.

Katharine McPhee sang “Night and Day” off her upcoming jazz album and Renee Olstead sang “Blue Velvet.” Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren performed “Stand Up for Something” from the film Marshall.

Mandy Moore was a presenter at the event and she was joined by This Is Us co-star Chrissy Metz.

The 46-year-old singer and actress was honored with the Hollywood Breakout Performance Actress Award for her work in Mudbound at the 2017 Hollywood Film Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (November 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Mary was joined on the red carpet by her Mudbound co-star Garrett Hedlund. The Mudbound cast also won the Breakout Ensemble Award!

And Mary wasn’t the only music maker being praised that evening: Common, Andra Day and Diane Warren were honored with the Hollywood Song Award for their song “Stand Up for Something” from the Marshall soundtrack.

Oprah Winfrey is enjoying brunch with Kerry Washington, Common, Angela Bassett and a few more of her famous friends!

The media mogul hosted her Gospel Brunch event while celebrating the release of her book The Wisdom of Sundays at her home on Sunday (October 15) in Montecito, Calif.

The event was attended by plenty of major stars, including Diane Warren, Sophia Bush, Peter Roth, Angela Bassett, Ava Duvernay, Niecy Nash, George Lucas, and Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos.

During the event, Common and Andra Day performed for the brunch-goers.

“Music, food, and friends. That’s what Sundays are for. #WisdomOfSundays,” Oprah wrote on her Instagram.

The Wisdom of Sundays: Life-Changing Insights from Super Soul Conversations, which features insights from Oprah‘s Super Soul Sunday television show, will be released on October 17.

Leona Lewis is picture perfect while striking a pose at the Apple Music Los Angeles Premiere of Clive Davis: The Soundtrack Of Our Lives held at Pacific Design Center on Tuesday (September 26) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 32-year-old singer was joined at the event by DJ Khaled, Bonnie McKee, Carlos Santana, Tiffany Dunn, Randy Jackson, Taylor Dayne, Diane Warren, and Clive Davis himself.

In Clive Davis: The Soundtrack Of Our Lives documentarian Chris Perkel catalogues the life and successes of the iconic music executive, from his miraculous start at Columbia Records through his trailblazing work at Arista Records and J Records, with a heavy dose of outstanding music sprinkled in between.

Chelsea Handler Honored by LA Press Club with Some Legendary Ladies!

Chelsea Handler is in good company alongside legendary actress Angela Lansbury and acclaimed songwriter Diane Warren while being honored at the LA Press Club’s National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards Gala.

The comedian received the Luminary Award for Career Achievement and her pal Jason Biggs presented the award to her at the event on Sunday (December 4) in Los Angeles.

Diane received the Visionary Award for her humanitarian work and Angela was recognized with the Legend Award for her lifetime achievement.

“Thanks @JasonBiggs for presenting me with my luminary award tonight. I don’t get awards very often,” Chelsea tweeted after the event.
