Dionne Warwick was among the VIPs who stepped out over the weekend for a special preview performance of the hot new musical Some Like It Hot!

The legendary songwriter joined the show’s creators for the event on Friday (November 18) at the Shubert Theatre in New York City.

The guests were treated to a pre-show cocktail party with co-book writer Amber Ruffin, composers Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, and director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw.

Special guests included Tony Danza, Zac Posen and fiance Harrison Ball, Noma Dumezweni, Renee Fleming, Gina Gershon, Candace Bushnell, Erich Bergen, Dominic Fumusa, Jonathan Fernandez, Daniel Benedict and Cinema Society founder Andrew Saffir.

Set in Chicago when Prohibition has everyone thirsty for a little excitement, Some Like It Hot is the rollicking story of two musicians forced to flee the Windy City after witnessing a mob hit. With gangsters hot on their heels, they’re on the run as the newest members of the swingingest big band ever to cross the country. Can they hide in plain sight without completely losing themselves? Or will the mob, the truth, and maybe even love itself finally catch up to them?

The musical is based on the classic MGM film of the same name!

Luke Evans is making sure co-star Michiel Huisman is looking good.

The two stars stepped out for the premiere of their new Apple TV+ series Echo 3 held at Walter Reade Theater on Wednesday night (November 16) in New York City.

Luke and Michiel were joined by co-stars Jessica Ann Collins, Dominic Fumusa, Juan Pablo Raba, Pablo Trapero, Martina Gusman, Valerie Mahaffey, and James Udom, along with showrunner Mark Boal.

Echo 3 follows Amber Chesborough (Collins), a brilliant young scientist, who is the emotional center of a small American family.

When she goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother, Bambi (Evans), and her husband — two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts — struggle to find her in a drama set against the explosive backdrop of a secret war.

Apple TV+ will premiere Echo 3 on November 23. You can watch the trailer below!

Neil Patrick Harris doesn’t think the cast of Hamilton should have to apologize for reading a poignant letter to Vice President-elect Mike Pence at a performance over the weekend.

Donald Trump says that the cast was rude and has demanded an apology twice on behalf of the VP-elect.

“When you’re in the political spectrum and you go around on purpose proclaiming things, then karmically you may have to observe people who represent the things he’s against,” Neil expressed while attending the Cinema Society screening of Moana with his hubby David Burtka and their twins Gideon and Harper on Sunday (November 20) in New York City.

“I didn’t find what was said [by the Hamilton cast] at all offensive or mean,” Neil added (via Vulture). “In fact, their quieting people’s boos and their thinking about ways to articulate themselves effectively is a much different engagement than if they were just insulting someone. I know that Lin and that cast are intelligent and respectful and use their words with great intention. And so I think what was said was effective. I do worry about a President-Elect demanding an apology from people speaking their opinions.”

Also in attendance at the screening was Malin Akerman, Liev Schreiber and his two sons Alexander “Sasha”, 9, and Samuel, 7, Jason Biggs, his wife Jenny Mollen and their son Sid, Michael Kelly, Peter Hermann and his son Andrew, and Josh Lucas with his wife Jessica and their son Noah.

Queen Latifah strikes a pose as she hits the blue carpet at the premiere of her latest film Ice Age: Collision Course held at the Walter Reade Theater on Thursday (July 7) in New York City.

The 46-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, as well as Cynthia Nixon, Padma Lakshmi, Dominic Fumusa and Michael Strahan, who brought along his twin daughters Sophia and Isabella.

The next morning (July 8), Queen stopped by The Today Show to promote the flick and comment on the Dallas police shooting.

“It’s terrible, but we have to get real about it,” Queen expressed. “If we get real about it, we can deal with it. But if we want to act like, ‘Oh no, that’s their problem,’ and ‘This only happens here.’ No, it’s happening to all of us.”

“I’m Queen Latifah, but I’m black wherever I go,” Queen added. “I deal with the same experiences that other people deal with. I’m also the daughter of a cop, I’m also the sister of a cop, the cousin of a cop and the niece of cops. I don’t want the guns turned on police any more than I want the guns turned on us.”

Emily Blunt flashes a smile alongside her hubby John Krasinski while attending the Dallas premiere of his latest film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi held at the AT&T Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Tuesday (January 12) in Arlington, Texas.

The 32-year-old actress was joined by John‘s co-stars Pablo Schreiber, James Badge Dale, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, Max Martini, Alexia Barlier, David Costabile, David Giuntoli, Toby Stephens, as well as director-producer Michael Bay and NFL player Tony Romo, who came out to show his support.

The three actors were joined by Adrien Brody, Emily Mortimer and her hubby Alessandro Nivola, Mamie and Grace Gummer, Dominic Fumusa, Johannes Huebl, Gina Gershon, Nico Tortorella, Amy Ryan, Cecilia Westin and Andreja Pejic at the event presented by FIJI Water and Truvee Wines.
