Julianne Moore & Jodie Turner-Smith Make Fashionable Arrivals Ahead Of The Venice Film Festival 2022

Julianne Moore dresses up for the Cinema Danieli – An Unforgettable Story inaugural cocktail party with Variety ahead of the 2022 Venice International Film Festival on Tuesday (August 30) in Venice, Italy.

The 61-year-old actress will be serving as the President of the film festival this year, alongside Mariano Cohn, Leonardo Di Costanzo, Audrey Diwan, Leila Hatami, Kazuo Ishiguro and Rodrigo Sorogoyen, who were all in attendance at the event that kicks off the festivities this year.

The jury will award the Golden Lion for Best Film, Silver Lion – Grand Jury Prize, Silver Lion for Best Director, Volpi Cups for Best Actress and Best Actor, Special Jury Prize, Award for Best Screenplay and Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best New Young Actor or Actress.

Ahead of the party, Julianne was seen arriving on the island, alongside other notable festival goers including Jodie Turner-Smith, Tessa Thompson, Don Cheadle, and couple Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin.

The Venice Film Festival will run until September 10.

FYI: Julianne wore Gucci for her arrival in Venice, and Alaïa for the party. Jodie wore a Casablanca suit, Gucci bags and sunglasses, and Jimmy Choo shoes. Tessa wore a Victoria Beckham dress, Anny Nord shoes, Lapima sunglasses and Vivienne Westwood bag for her arrival, and then changed into a Rodarte look for the party.

The debut trailer for writer/director Noah Baumbach‘s White Noise just debuted online!

Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade Meet Up With Magic Johnson at 'They Call Me Magic' Series Premiere

Gabrielle Union keeps close to husband Dwyane Wade at the premiere of Apple’s They Call Me Magic held at Regency Village Theatre on Thursday (April 14) in Los Angeles.

The cute couple hit the red carpet alongside Magic Johnson and his entire family – wife Cookie, and their children, Andre, EJ, and Elisa Johnson, as well as Andre‘s wife, Lisa.

Other guests at the event included series contributors Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Samuel L. Jackson, Jerry West, and Stephen A. Smith. Sugar Ray Leonard, David Arquette, Patricia Arquette, Don Cheadle, Courtney B. Vance, Stevie Wonder, and Tina Knowles-Lawson were also there.

They Call Me Magic offers a rare glimpse into the incredible real-life story of Magic, who left his mark on history through his work — both on and off the court — and continues to impact our culture today.

The docu-series will debut on Friday, April 22, on Apple TV+.

Samuel L. Jackson & Dominique Fishback Hit The Premiere of 'Last Days of Ptolemy Grey' in LA

Samuel L. Jackson meets up with Dominique Fishback on the red carpet at the premiere of their new series, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, held at The Bruin in Los Angeles on Monday night (March 7).

The two actors were joined by many of their co-stars including Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Omar Miller, DeRon Horton, Percy Daggs IV, and director Debbie Allen.

Other guests at the limited series premiere include Marvin ‘Krondon’ Jones III, Charity Jordan, Monique Coleman, Katherine McNamara, Don Cheadle, Tamberla Perry, Magic Johnson, Cookie Johnson, and Christine Horn.

The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey is based on the novel by bestselling author Walter Mosley, and centers on the title character, an ailing man forgotten by his family, by his friends, and by even himself.

Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn. When they learn about a treatment that can temporarily restore Ptolemy’s dementia-addled memories, it begins a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present and future.

The limited series is set to debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, March 11.

ABC Brings Back 'The Wonder Years' Tonight - Meet The Full Cast!

The Wonder Years is officially premiering tonight on ABC!

Inspired by the early 1990s series of the same name, the new show is an original coming-of-age comedy that tells the story of the Williams family during the late 1960s, all through the point of view of imaginative 12-year-old Dean.

With the wisdom of his adult years, Dean’s hopeful and humorous recollections of his past spotlight the ups and downs of growing up in a Black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama, and the friendship, laughter and lessons along the way.

The Wonder Years will premiere at 8:30/7:30c on ABC!

Don Cheadle Reacts to Backlash from His Viral Interview with Kevin Hart

Don Cheadle is standing up for Kevin Hart.

The comedian interviewed the Avengers star for an episode of his Peacock talk show last week and one moment from their conversation ended up going viral.

During a discussion about generational wealth, Don mentioned that he was 56-years-old and Kevin reacted by exclaiming, “Damn!”

The video quickly went viral, with many calling out Kevin for being rude over social media.

Don took to Twitter on Monday (August 16) to react to the backlash.

Don Cheadle's Reaction to His Emmy Nomination Is Going Viral Because He Doesn't Get It

Don Cheadle was nominated for a 2021 Emmy Award in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for her work on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The 56-year-old actor reprised his role of Colonel James Rupert “Rhodey” Rhodes in the Marvel show for a 95-second scene in episode one. He earned the nomination for this short stint opposite Anthony Mackie.
