Gwyneth Paltrow wraps her arm around celebrated photographer Mario Testino during an art exhibition on Monday (July 5) at London’s Phillips de Pury & Company.

The twosome checked out “Mario Testino: Kate Who?” – an exhibition of iconic art work by Testino of British supermodel Kate Moss (pictured below with her boyfriend Jamie Hince, the guitarist for the alternative rock band The Kills).

Also in attendance: designers Stella McCartney and Donatella Versace.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen look ferosh at The Art of Elysium’s second annual Bright Lights charity event held at NYC’s Milk Studios on Friday (April 30).

The event was presented by with VERSUS by Donatella Versace and designer Christopher Kane. Hosts included Joy Bryant, Sara Moonves, Bee Shaffer and Nicole Vecchiarelli.

At the Belvedere Vodka-sponsored soiree, celebs joined PSIMadeThis in designing green-colored hats to celebrate the new 100% recyclable Dasani PlantBottle plastic bottle packaging (made from up to 30% plant materials).

Other attendees: Estelle (she rocked the house during her performance), hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, Vogue‘s Anna Wintour, Janet Jackson, Christian Siriano, Just Jared, model Karolina Kurkova, Benji Madden, Veronica Webb, Alexa Chung, Joy Bryant, Naomi Campbell, Michelle Trachtenburg, Olivia Palermo, and 90210‘s Tristan Wilds.

FYI: Ashley wore vintage Commes De Garcon, The Row leather jacket, Balenciaga shoes and a vintage clutch. MK wore a Proenza Schouler shirt dress, vintage leopard coat, Nicholas Kirkwood booties and a vintage bag.

Janet Jackson rubs shoulders with designer Donatella Versace at amfAR Milano 2009 during the Inaugural Milan Fashion Week event at La Permanente on Monday (September 28) in Milan, Italy.

Earlier in the evening, Donatella threw a dinner party for 150 family and friends, including Janet and her beau Jermaine Dupri. “She continuously inspires me,” Janet told FWD. “Donatella is just a sweet, nurturing woman and the show was unbelievable, of course. There’s definitely a reason to celebrate.”

On crediting Gianni Versace with kick-starting celebrity dressing: “Celebrities — the cult — they don’t exist before Versace. This kind of thing to go and dress a rock band — nobody did that before Gianni did.”

It’s Donatella‘s doppelgänger, an Italian countess who has had a home on St. Bart’s for over ten years. It’s the same one who hit the beach in her bikini last month.

The 53-year-old fashion designer recently said that customers have a more sophisticated eye and a more active life. She said, “Women want a different kind of fashion – less loud, more sophisticated, still sensual, still glamorous.”

Donatella also described the Versace shopper: “She’s confident, for sure. Determined. … Women use fashion to achieve goals. A great dress is a great weapon – for their career, for their private life, for so many things.”

Gerard Butler rubs shoulders with designer Donatella Versace backstage at the Versace Summer Fashion Show during Milan Fashion Week 2009 in Italy on Saturday.

The 38-year-old Scottish stud sat front row at the Versace show next to a huge celeb line-up: producer/rapper Jermaine Dupri, his boo Janet Jackson, designer Tom Ford, actor Rupert Everett, Allegra Versace (Donatella’s daughter), Vogue Editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Men’s Vogue editor Jay Fielden and actor Dominic Cooper.

Later in the day, Gerard was seen sitting front row next to Anna Wintour at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show (Menswear Spring/Summer 2009). This is Wintour‘s inaugural trip to Milan for the men’s shows. Wintour will also make a cameo at a Men’s Vogue event hosted in honor of Gerard.
