Draymond Green is reflecting on an incident between himself and Jordan Poole that went viral.
The 32-year-old Golden State Warriors player was seen viciously punching his 23-year-old teammate, knocking him to the ground during team practice, and it was all caught on camera.
Soon after, he vowed to take some time away after the incident.
And now, he’s speaking out about what happened afterward…
Draymond Green is speaking out for the first time since the leak of a video that featured him getting into an altercation with teammate Jordan Poole.
In the video from a Golden State Warriors practice session, Draymond was seen walking up to Jordan, and as he pushes Draymond away with two hands to the chest, Draymond reacts with a right cross, connecting with Jordan‘s face and knocking him to the ground – potentially even knocking him out.
Draymond has released an apology statement and says he will be taking time away from the team.
