Jennifer Lopez strikes a pose on the red carpet while attending the Television Academy‘s Shades Of Blue event held at Saban Media Center on Thursday (June 9) in North Hollywood, Calif.

The 46-year-old entertainer was joined by her co-stars Ray Liotta, Antonio Jaramillo, Dayo Okeniyi, Drea de Matteo and Sarah Jeffery as they all sat down for a Q&A panel.

“It would be amazing,” Jennifer expressed about a possible Emmy nomination (via ET). “The work that I do and being an artist for so many years, there’s always a goal when you’re a little girl, like, ‘I want to win an Oscar one day, or I want to win an Emmy, or a GRAMMY.’ But then I’ve been in the business so long, the reward is actually being able to do this for a living.”

“I really feel blessed,” Jennifer added. “All that would just be icing on the cake if it happens.”

Jennifer Lopez will be back on the small screen next year for a second season of her new NBC series Shades of Blue!

The series has been renewed for a second season after improving its time-slot by an average of 38 percent.

“We want to thank Jennifer, who is the hardest working woman we know, for her incredible efforts as both the star and producer of this show, as well as well as our other amazing producers and cast for all their tireless work in creating one of the most compelling dramas on television today,” NBC’s entertainment president Jennifer Salke said in a statement (via TV Line). “We’re so excited to find out where this story will lead and have them raise the stakes even higher in what we know will be a fantastic second season.”

The 46-year-old superstar cited Shonda Rhimes’ work on Grey’s Anatomy as a milestone for diversity in television.

“That’s where TV got interesting again. I remember watching that and what was so interesting was where she placed different characters,” Jennifer said. “Since then it feels like the norm. There’s no getting away from it.”

Jennifer Lopez takes time to meet one of her youngest fans on the set of her upcoming series Shades of Blue on Thursday (August 20) in Brooklyn, New York.

The day before, the 46-year-old entertainer was joined on set by Ray Liotta and Drea De Matteo as they filmed scenes for the TV show.

It was also recently announced that Jennifer would be one of the headliners for the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina on November 7th in Miami, Fla.

Other headliners include Pitbull and Prince Royce. The concert will also include performances by Becky G as well as Don Omar, Wisin, Marco Antonio Solis, Camila, Fonesca, and Voz de Mando.

Jennifer Lopez cuffs another actor after tackling him to the ground while shooting scenes for her upcoming TV show Shades of Blue on Wednesday afternoon (August 5) in New York City.

The 46-year-old actress was joined on set by her co-star Drea de Matteo.

Shades of Blue follows a single mom who works undercover for the FBI on an anti-corruption task force unit.

Drea De Matteo is engaged to her rocker boyfriend Michael Devin!

The 43-year-old Sons of Anarchy actress got engaged on stage at Michael‘s concert with Whitesnake on July 25 in Atlantic City, N.J.

“I fell in love with a very beautiful woman a few years ago, and I want to embarrass her as much as I can,” Michael said while inviting Drea on stage. “I’ve been in love with you since the day I met you and I will for the rest of my life, and I hope that you’ll marry me.”

“Wait, I have two questions for you,” he added before she could answer. “One, will you make sweet passionate love to me for the rest of my life?”

Drea replied by saying, “Forevermore,” which refers to the band’s 2011 album.

“And two, will you marry me please?” Devin continued. “Will you love my children forevermore?” she said back.

After he said “yes,” Drea shouted out, “I’m going to marry this motherf–ker!”
