The duo, made up of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, has charted three songs in the top ten of the Hot 100 this week.
“Something Just Like This” featuring Coldplay is at number five, “Paris” is at number seven, and “Closer” featuring Halsey is at number ten.
The Chainsmokers now join The Beatles and Bee Gees as the only groups or duos to land three songs in the top ten of the Hot 100 in the same week. Overall, they are the 14th act to achieve the feat with the most recent one being Justin Bieber, who held the honor for 10 weeks from December 2015 to February 2016.
Topping the chart for the sixth total week is Ed Sheeran‘s “Shape of You.”
The show is being held tonight, Sunday (March 5) at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. Halsey and The Chainsmokers guys – Drew Taggart and Alex Pall – are nominated for several awards tonight for their song “Closer.”
The Chainsmokers will also take the stage with Chris Martin to perform “Something Just Like This” – stay tuned!

Since breaking out in a major way with their 2014 hit “#Selfie,” the guys – Drew Taggart and Alex Pall – have been on a non-stop trek to superstardom thanks to a steady stream of fantastic EDM singles, from “Kanye” to “Let You Go” to 2015′s “Roses” and “Don’t Let Me Down” with Daya, to most recently, “Closer” featuring Halsey – their first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100, which managed to hold the the top spot for 12 consecutive weeks.
The Chainsmokers are the first artists to have four songs (“Closer” being the fourth) that have topped the Dance/Electronic Songs chart, beating Calvin Harris, who held the previous record with three.
Along with being nominated for Best New Artist, Drew and Alex are up for two other awards at the 2017 Grammys, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Closer” and Best Dance Recording for “Don’t Let Me Down.”
