Halsey Seems to Throw Shade at The Chainsmokers, Shares Her Love for Lady Gaga

Halsey seemingly threw shade at The Chainsmokers after they reunited for a performance at the 2016 American Music Awards this weekend.

Last month, the duo slammed Lady Gaga‘s song “Perfect Illusion” and Halsey praised the singer after she clapped back at the music producers.

Drew Taggart, who sings on “Closer” with Halsey, allegedly lashed out against her hours later by tweeting “F–k you bald bitch,” but he later said the tweet was manipulated and that his account was hacked.

Halsey posted a photo of her shaved head on Instagram on Monday (November 21) along with the caption, “I love my dumb bald head 💘.” She also posted a photo of her hugging Gaga and said, “Life made.”

Gaga also posted a photo of her with Halsey and captioned it with angel and heart emojis. Looks like there’s a new friendship there!

UPDATE: Halsey clarified the situation on her Twitter, writing, “No no no. That shade was @ rude comments bout my shaved head. Drew got hacked. He’s the homie + so respectful of me.”

Lady Gaga Responds to The Chainsmokers' 'Perfect Illusion' Diss

Lady Gaga has finally responded to The Chainsmokers, who didn’t have very nice things to say about her recent single “Perfect Illusion.”

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the EDM duo explained that they thought the single “sucked.”

Gaga had the perfect response though, taking to her Twitter after the release of her new single “A-Yo” to write, “#AYO @TheChainsmokers maybe u guys’ll like this 1 better.”

The Chainsmokers quickly took to their own account to write back, saying, “Haha @ladygaga RESPECT.”
