Amid James Gunn‘s rise to a leadership position in the DC world, the fate of our favorite superheroes has been up in the air while the new team decides how to proceed.
Black Adam was released in theaters in October 2022 and has grossed almost $400 million at the worldwide box office, which is less than expected. The end credits scene for the film teased a Black Adam vs. Superman movie with the return of Henry Cavill, but now it has been confirmed that Henry will no longer be playing the iconic superhero after all.

We have new photos from the set of the upcoming movie Red One!
Chris Evans was spotted on set with co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who was sporting an all-leather look, on Thursday (November 3) in Atlanta, Ga.
The guys were seen having an animated conversation while holding some gifts, like a Monopoly board game set.
Red One is being described as an action-adventure holiday comedy, though no plot details have really been revealed at this point. Lucy Liu and Kiernan Shipka are also part of the cast of the Prime Video film. Stay tuned as we learn more about the new project!

Dwayne Johnson has voiced his support for Brendan Fraser, his The Mummy Returns co-star, to receive an Oscar!
“I want him to go all the way, man,” Dwayne told MTV News. “I wanna see him on that Oscar stage, and hold that sucker up, and deliver, I’m sure, what will be an amazing speech.”
Dwayne expressed gratitude for the opportunity he had in making the 2001 movie, The Mummy Returns, with Brendan‘s support.
“I’d just come from WWE. I had no acting experience except in the WWE. I had never been on a movie set before ever and, all of a sudden, I’m in the middle of the Sahara Desert making The Mummy Returns,” Dwayne said. “And I get that kind of nod of acceptance from the star of the movie. It really meant a lot to me. So many years later, I never forgot it.”
Interestingly, the two met for the very first time at the reception of the movie.
“The first time I met him was at the reception after The Mummy Returns. We hadn’t met in person before then, actually, although we were fighting onscreen. But every time I worked with him, he was just a piece of tape on a stick. So it was nice to go, ‘Hey, man. How are ya? We finally meet!,’ Brendan told Variety.
Brendan has been receiving rave reviews and standing ovations for his performance in The Whale.
Black Adam is now in theaters and the end credits scene is going to be the talk of the town this weekend!
There is a major cameo in the scene that will set up the DC Extended Universe’s future in a big way – and fans are so, so, so excited.
