Producer Dana Brunetti added, “And… “That’s a wrap!” E L James Author and Michael De Luca, you were amazing partners to have on this journey.”

The 50-year-old author talked about announcing the initial casting for the flick.
“It was very mixed and I had to get off Twitter for a couple of days. I wasn’t surprised. People hate change. I thought there would be a few people upset, regardless of whom we had chosen. It was intense, but people came around to it,” she said of casting Charlie Hunnam. “It was disappointing [when he dropped], but it is what it is. I wish him well. And now we have Jamie [Dornan], and that’s great. It’s been interesting with Jamie, [the fan reaction] has been so positive.”
Adding about Jamie‘s female co-star Dakota Johnson, “She’s an old soul, but she’s so sweet, and she has a wicked sense of humor.”
She also spoke about the book becoming a movie: “I’m terrified. Completely. I’ve been terrified from the moment I published the book.”

The 23-year-old actress, who will be playing the role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of the hit book, also met up with the movie’s producer Dana Brunetti.
“The beautiful, talented, funny as feck, Dakota Johnson. Oh and that bloke @danabrunetti,” E.L. wrote on her Twitter account.
Dakota‘s upcoming co-star Charlie Hunnam spoke out last night about starring with her in the movie, saying that when he got into the room with her, he knew he “definitely wanted to do it, because there was a tangible chemistry between us. It felt kind of exciting and fun and weird and compelling, and so that was it.”

Producer Dana Brunetti has now sent his Twitter followers some explanation into the process for choosing the actors to play the roles.
“There is a lot that goes into casting that isn’t just looks. Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actor, etc,” Dana tweeted. “So if your favorite wasn’t cast, then it is most likely due to something on that list. Keep that in mind while hating and keep perspective.”
E.L. James, the author of the bestselling book series has also sent her fans a message following the casting news she revealed.
“To all the supporters, lovers and haters – thank you so much for the passion that you have for this project. You all rock. All of you. ♡” she tweeted.
