Legendary singer Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickell were arrested at their home in Connecticut on Sunday (April 27) after a “heated domestic dispute,” TMZ reports.
Police were called to the 72-year-old singer and his wife’s residence at around 8pm, where they were both taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.
It is unclear why Paul and Edie were fighting, and no other details surrounding the arrest have been made available.
Paul and Edie have been married for twenty-two years and have three kids together.
“Investigating officers gathered information and found probable cause” a police report said. They have both been released as of 10:30am EST.
