Kristen Wiig flashes a smile as she attends the after party for her film, Friends with Kids, held at the Boom Boom Room on Tuesday (March 5) in New York City.

The 38-year-old comedienne and Saturday Night Live star was joined by her co-stars Jon Hamm, Edward Burns, and Jennifer Westfeldt, who wrote and directed the film.

Paula Patton and Chace Crawford are all smiles at Reebok‘s The Sport Of Fitness Has Arrived campaign launch held at 82 Mercer on Thursday (January 26) in New York City.

The 36-year-old actress and Chace, 26, were joined by Elizabeth Banks and Edward Burns as they participated in an intense workout under the watchful eyes of 2011 Reebok CrossFit Games champs Rich Froning and Annie Thorisdottir.

“Thanks @reebok for having me today this event is awesome #reebokcrossfit,” Paula wrote on her Twitter account. “Stay fit ladies and gentlemen XO.”

Matthew Fox will play the villain in the detective thriller I, Alex Cross, which is based on the James Patterson book.

According to Deadline, the 44-year-old Lost actor will play Matthew Sullivan, aka “Butcher of Sligo,” who kills both for money and thrills.

Actor/writer/director Tyler Perry recently replaced Idris Elba in the role of famed detective Alex Cross. Ed Burns (Saving Private Ryan) also signed onto the movie as Tommy Kane, Cross’ partner.

Rob Cohen (The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor) will direct.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin comes out to support director/actor Edward Burns at the Heineken-sponsored after-party for his new movie, Nice Guy Johnny, during the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival at NYC’s City Hall Restaurant on Friday (April 23).

Also in attendance: Ed‘s wife (and model) Christy Turlington, Zach Braff, Melrose Place‘s Colin Egglesfield and Nice Guy‘s Kerry Bishé and Anna Wood.
