Gerard Butler flashes the shaka sign on the red carpet at the premiere of his new film Chasing Mavericks on Thursday (October 18) at the Pacific Theaters at the Grove in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Leven Rambin, Abigail Spencer, Jonny Weston, and Elisabeth Shue.

Chasing Mavericks hits theaters everywhere on October 26!

FYI: Leven is wearing a Timo Weiland dress, Neil Lane jewels, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Jimmy Choo shoes. Gerard is wearing Dolce&Gabbana and Rogue boots.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: Seeking a fresh start, newly divorced Sarah (Shue) and her daughter Elissa (Lawrence) find the house of their dreams in a small, upscale, rural town. But when startling and unexplainable events begin to happen, Sarah and Elissa learn the town is in the shadows of a chilling secret. Years earlier, in the house next door, a daughter killed her parents in their beds, and disappeared – leaving only a brother, Ryan (Thieriot), as the sole survivor. Against Sarah’s wishes, Elissa begins a relationship with the reclusive Ryan – and the closer they get, the deeper they’re all pulled into a mystery more dangerous than they ever imagined.

Jessica Szohr, Elisabeth Shue, and Kelly Brook arrive at the premiere of Piranha 3-D held at the Mann’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Wednesday (August 18).

They were joined by costar Jerry O’Connell and his wife X-Men‘s Rebecca Romjin along with actor Adam Scott.

Piranha 3-D is a remake of the 1978 horror film Piranha. The film has been receiving rave reviews. At the time of this post, the film is receiving a 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That’s the same score as Inception!

The new 3-D flick hits theaters today.
