Usher hits the stage to perform at the Clive Davis & The Recording Academy’s 2013 Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons on Saturday (February 9) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 34-year-old singer helped pay tribute to his mentor L.A. Reid, who was the honoree that evening. He also met up with Sean Combs at the event.

Ciara, Ellie Goulding, Ashanti, and Janelle Monae were all spotted adding glamor to the red carpet at the gala.

FYI: Ciara is wearing a Halston dress. Ellie is wearing Greymer shoes.

Ellie recently called it quits with Skrillex after a year of dating and is now reportedly dating actor Jeremy Irvine – the two were spotted together at Somerset House Ice Rink in London.

Ellie Goulding and her boyfriend Skrillex have reportedly called it quits after a year of dating.

“It’s over,” a source told US Weekly. “There’s no bad blood. Just a classic case of long distance being impossible. They hope to remain good friends.”

“It just happened. Their schedules are just too crazy,” another source shared with Us Weekly. “Work schedules and distance took their toll. She’s fine though.”

Ellie recently talked about how Skrillex influenced her in Time magazine, saying, “Yeah, we were good mates before we became a couple, and we’re both really big fans of each other. So, like, I play him my new stuff he plays me his new stuff, and it probably has influenced me subconsciously. And maybe my stuff has influenced him subconsciously. I don’t know. But he’s a very talented producer. He’s really good at what he does.”
