Emily Blunt holds onto her sweater while arriving at the Greenwich hotel on Tuesday (June 4) in New York City.
The 30-year-old actress just confirmed that she will be playing the Baker’s Wife in the upcoming movie musical Into the Woods opposite her former Devil Wears Prada co-star Meryl Streep!
“It’s horrible!” Emily told Vulture about a video of her doing karaoke that ended up on YouTube. “People are like, ‘Well, if you want to hear her sing, this is how she sounds.’ And I’m just going, ‘Yikes!’ I hope people will not give me a hard time about it when the film comes out. I’m not the greatest singer in the room by any means, but I’ll have fun trying.”
“I can’t believe I’m playing in two movies with Meryl where she’s playing someone who’s horrible to me,” she added. “I’m so excited.”

The 30-year-old actress would play the baker’s wife, the female lead of the film opposite the already confirmed James Corden as the baker. Chris and Jake are reportedly in talks to play Rapunzel and Cinderella’s Princes.
The musical “revolves around a childless baker and his wife who attempt to lift a family curse by journeying into the woods to confront the witch that put the spell on them. Along the way, they encounter Rapunzel, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk‘s Jack, Little Red Riding Hood and other classic fairy tale characters.”
