The Spice Girls have unveiled their bejeweled cover art for their 2007 Greatest Hits Album! Here’s what the girls said on their official website:

“Hello Everybody,

We are very excited to be able to show you the cover of our Greatest Hits album. We have all been involved with the design and are really pleased with it… we hope that you like it as much as we do. We wanted to use our official website to show it to the fans first!

As well as working on the album we have already started planning for the tour – we can’t reveal too much but what we can say is that it is going to be amazing!! We are so excited and can’t wait to see you all. If you haven’t registered for your tickets then what are you waiting for? Do it now!! And keep checking the website for more news.

WHAT DO YOU THINK of The Spice Girls’ new album cover???

The Spice Girls have released a new promo to hype up their world tour. What an awful Photoshop job!!! But the girls look great!

Geri, Mel C, Mel B, Victoria and Emma added four new shows to their tour Vancouver, Canada on December 2nd and San Jose on the 4th and then Beijing and Shanghai on January 8 and 10.

A message on their official website says: “we’ve had over 3 Million ticket requests… that is MAJOR!”

The 14-city tour will start in Canada on December 2 and ends on January 24, 2008 in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.

Five became one when THE SPICE GIRLS worked up the camera at a photo call ahead of their news conference held at the O2 Arena, at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park on Thursday in London, England.

UPDATE: The Spice Girls just announced a 11-city world tour kicking off in Los Angeles on December 7, 2007 and concluding in Bueno Aires, Argentina on January 24, 2008. You can register for your chance for tickets at TheSpiceGirls.com.

They WILL NOT be performing at the Concert For Diana — Emma is expected to to give birth soon.

19 Entertainment, the management company for the Spice Girls, just released this statement:

“Following weeks of speculation, the Spice Girls are set to make an official announcement to the world regarding future plans on Thursday, June 28. Details regarding the announcement will be released in the coming days.”

Victoria (Adams) Beckham (Posh Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) formed the Spice Girls back in 1994 and split in 2001.

Victoria Beckham (in Giles Deacon) zig-a-zig-ah’d into another Spice Girls reunion on Wednesday wearing deadly WEAPONS on her two feet — eye-popping spike-studded heels! As if Avril Lavigne‘s spikes weren’t long enough!

Wearing a crazy-patterned mini-dress, Posh fueled more rumors, dining at central London’s upscale Blake restaurant with fellow former Spice Girls pals Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton.

Speaking of Spice Girls, here is the first picture of more then three Spice Girls together in public since 2000 — Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm.

Melanie Brown, of course, is at home working out her baby mama drama with rumored father Eddie Murphy.

The Spice Girls — who zig-a-zig-ah’d their way to fame in 1996 — attended the christening of Geri‘s 11-month-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna, at St. Michael’s Church in London on Sunday.

Victoria, 33, is Bluebell‘s godmother. Emma, 31, is expecting her first child this summer with boyfriend Jade Jones (pictured after the jump).
