Modern Family star Sarah Hyland serves co-star Eric Stonestreet‘s head on a silver platter in this new still from the show’s Halloween episode, airing Wednesday, October 27 on ABC!

Here’s the synopsis for the ep: Claire loves Halloween and is gearing up to spookify the Dunphy house for the trick or treaters. She gives each family member a role to play, but none of it goes quite right… Cameron can’t shake a traumatic childhood experience and hates the holiday, Mitchell has had a terrible day at work, and Gloria is acting weird after Jay and Manny teased her about her accent.

Modern Family is already getting into the Halloween spirit – and they’re giving us an early treat!

Modern Family‘s on-screen couple Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet take the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly, on stands September 24.

The big kiss between their characters, Cameron and Mitchell, will reportedly happen in the Sept. 29 episode. That’s this Wednesday’s episode!!!

FYI: Last month at the Emmys, Modern Family won Outstanding Comedy, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy (for the pilot ep), and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy (Stonestreet).

And if you haven’t already seen the clip of co-star Sofia Vergara from last night’s premiere, you MUST MUST MUST!!! The ep pulled in 12.6 million viewers, returning 19% higher than last fall!

Jason Momoa makes it a date night with girlfriend Lisa Bonet on Wednesday (September 8) at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Jason, 31, and Lisa, 42, took in some alt-rock music at the David Gray and Ray LaMontagne show. The night before, Chris Hemsworth and his baby bro Liam (Miley Cyrus‘s on-again boyfriend) and Modern Family‘s Ty Burell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet were also spotted catching the concert.

Glee‘s Lea Michele graces the cover of the Hollywood Reporter‘s Emmy Issue alongside fellow nominees Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, Damages‘ Rose Byrne, Modern Family‘s Eric Stonestreet, Mad Men‘s John Slattery, The Office‘s Mindy Kaling, and Survivor‘s Jeff Probst.

When asked how she would do on Survivor, Lea responded, “Well, I used to have Survivor parties with tiki lamps, and I’d wear a bandana around my head and everything. So I know all there is to know about the show.”

The 23-year-old actress has been filming the second season of her hit show Glee over the past few weeks.

The 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards air this Sunday, August 29th at 8:00pm ET on NBC!

Modern Family‘s on-screen couple Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet will pucker up during the second season of their hit ABC comedy series.

“Don’t expect a Gone With the Wind type of thing happening, I know the fans would like that,” Jesse said told E!. “We’re doing an episode about Mitchell’s fear of PDA, so it’s not the kiss episode per se, but yeah. It’s going to be a really poignant, beautiful thing but less of an ordeal than people think it is.”

Added Eric, “It’s a sweet moment for our show, not just a sweet moment for [our characters] Mitch and Cam.”
