Eric & Ivanka Trump Forgot to Register to Vote in GOP Primary

Donald Trump will be getting two less votes than he planned on in the New York GOP Primary next week as his kids Eric and Ivanka forgot to register.

“They were unaware of the rules and they didn’t register in time,” the presidential candidate said in a Fox and Friends interview. “So Eric and Ivanka, I guess, won’t be voting.”

“They feel very, very guilty. They feel very guilty,” Trump added. “But it’s fine. I understand that.”

In order to vote in the primary, people must be registered to the party, but Eric, 32, and Ivanka, 34, are not enrolled in a party.

Donald Trump's Kids Reveal Who His Favorite Child Is

Donald Trump and his family sat down for an interview with Barbara Walters on Friday night’s 20/20, the first time his loved ones have spoken out together since he began his presidential run.

The Republican candidate’s four oldest children – Donald Jr., 37, Ivanka, 34, Eric, 31, and Tiffany, 22 – were interviewed together.

The kids revealed that Ivanka is their father’s “favorite child” and she talked about the one thing she wishes he would change.

“I wish he would eat healthier and maybe slow down,” Ivanka said, adding that he has love for McDonald’s. “Sometimes I tell him, like, ‘Oh, you have to, you know, slow down.’ But it’s the only speed he knows, and I kind of love that about him.”

Make sure to watch below to see Donald‘s wife Melania Trump speaking out as well.

Donald Trump's Kids Stand By Him Amid All His Controversy: He's a 'True Visionary & Great Mentor'

Donald Trump‘s three kids, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump, are standing by their father amid the onslaught of controversy that seems to be hovering around him.

“Our father, Donald J. Trump is a true visionary and a great mentor,” the trio said in a statement (via People). “He is a brilliant negotiator with a proven track record of getting things done. Most importantly, he is an incredible dad and role model. He raised us to work hard and strive for excellence in all that we do. We love and respect him very much.”

In the very recent past, Donald has come under fire for calling Mexican immigrants “rapists” who bring drugs and crime to America. He subsequently was fired from many contracts and his Miss USA pageant greatly suffered as a result.

He also slammed Senator John McCain by saying he was not actually a war hero. For these comments, Donald was called out by tons of Republican party members. Senator McCain spent nearly six years in the Hoa Ló Prison in Vietnam and was repeatedly tortured while in captivity.

A recent ABC poll shows that Donald held 24% of the Republican support, putting him in the lead among Republican candidates.
