Eva Amurri Martino will star in the upcoming show Growing Ivy with her mom Susan Sarandon, according to THR!

The 28-year-old actress and her 67-year-old mom will also be co-executive producers on the NBC show, which will center on “Type A+ Ivy Davis (Amurri), who craves the stability she lacked in her childhood, and as a result, has thrown herself into her career at the expense of her personal life. In an attempt to restore balance and potentially find love, she invites her freewheeling, eccentric mom Frankie (Sarandon) to move in with her and work on their relationship.”

This project will be the third that Eva and Susan play a mother-and-daughter duo, which they played in Mother’s Day and The Banger Sisters.

Greta Gerwig and Patrick Heusinger hit the red carpet at the premiere of their new film Frances Ha on Wednesday (May 1) at the Vista Theatre in Los Angeles.

The co-stars were joined at the premiere by special guests Krysten Ritter, Andrew Rannells, Eva Amurri Martino, Josh Radnor, and Katie Aselton.

Frances Ha, which was co-written by and stars Greta, is about a New York woman (who doesn’t really have an apartment), who apprentices for a dance company (though she’s not really a dancer), and throws herself headlong into her dreams, even as their possible reality dwindles. It hits theaters in limited release on May 17.
