“At the #SHeGrandOpening event.. The most amazing live performances at the @shelasvegas nightclub!!” Eva tweeted while in attendance at the big affair.

The day after, the 37-year-old actress tweeted, “So excited about our #SHeGrandOpening launch party for @shelasvegas this Saturday! See you there!”

Eva Longoria is bright and colorful on the Spring 2013 cover of Cosmopolitan for Latinas, on newsstands Tuesday (February 5).

Here’s what the 37-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On a sound piece of advice her mother gave her: “My mother gave me one piece of advice that’s always stuck with me. Don’t forget where you came from.”

On living with her gal pals: “I grew up with three sisters and love a full house. I basically live in a sorority house now.”

On being politically active: “I’ve been studying the Constitution for myself but also as a way for me, as a Democrat, to comprehend the Right. I think it’s important that people who are politically active understand both sides. One of my biggest pet peeves is speaking out of ignorance.”

The 37-year-old actress is back in town after attending the 2013 Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C. earlier in the week.

Eva shared her feelings on the latest episode of Chopped on her Twitter account the next day.

Katy Perry and Eva Longoria make separate arrivals at LAX Airport after spending the weekend in Washington, DC on Tuesday (January 22) in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old singer and 37-year-old actress both attended the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, which celebrated the re-swearing in of President Barack Obama for his second term as Commander in Chief.

Katy rang in the festivities with her beau John Mayer, and attended the Inaugural Ball with him as well.

Eva also hit up numerous inauguration parties to celebrate the weekend!

Eva Longoria is pretty in purple at The Daily Beast Bi-Partisan Inauguration Brunch held at Cafe Milano on Sunday (January 20) in Washington, DC.

“Happy Inauguration Day!!!” the 37-year-old actress wrote on her Twitter account the next day.

On Inauguration Day, Gabrielle Union and Wilmer Valderrama attended the Inaugural Ball hosted by BET Networks held at the Smithsonian American Art Museum & National Portrait Gallery.

“In DC for the inauguration…so excited…or maybe that’s the red bull since we’ve been up since 445am! #Inauguration” Gabrielle tweeted that day.
