Kate Mara & Evan Peters Join Co-Stars at 'Pose' Premiere

Kate Mara poses for a photo with husband Jamie Bell at the premiere for her new series Pose on Thursday (May 17) at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Also in attendance at the event were actors Evan Peters, James Van Der Beek (with pregnant wife Kimberly), Billy Porter, MJ Rodriguez, Angelica Ross, Indya Moore, Dominique Jackson, and Hailie Sahar.

Other stars stepping out for the event included Janet Mock, who directed an episode of the show, as well as American Crime Story‘s Cody Fern and Trust‘s Michael Esper.

Pose is the latest show from executive producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Sherry Marsh. It premieres on FX on June 3!

The 31-year-old actress took to Instagram Stories to share screencaps of her FaceTime calls with some friends on the day she got engaged.

Lea and Zandy called up her Scream Queens co-star Emma Roberts and her longtime love Evan Peters, as well as her Glee co-star Darren Criss and his fiancee Mia Swier.

New Ryan Murphy Series 'Pose' Releases Teaser Trailer - Watch Now!

Pose is coming!

The latest Ryan Murphy series dropped a teaser video on Thursday (April 12) ahead of its premiere on June 3.

The series was co-created by Ryan, Brad Falchuk and Steven Canals. It’s already made history for having the largest cast of transgender actors in regular roles in history, making it the largest LGBTQ cast ever for a scripted series!

The cast includes Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore, Hailie Sahar and Angelica Ross.

If you didn’t know, the show is set in New York during the ’80s, and explores different segments of life in the city from the ball culture world to the rise of luxury and the Trump era.

However, as the daring theft unfolds through each of their perspectives, each of them start to question whether their attempts to inject excitement and purpose into their lives is simply a misguided attempt at achieving the American Dream.

American Animals is directed by Bart Layton and also stars Barry Keoghan, Blake Jenner, Jared Abrahamson, Ann Dowd, and Udo Kier.

Ryan Murphy Spills on 'American Horror Story' Season 8

Ryan Murphy is spilling on American Horror Story season eight!

The 52-year-old series creator made some major revelations about upcoming season during a FYC panel event on Friday night (April 6) in Los Angeles.

In addition to Joan Collins and Kathy Bates, the cast will also include Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter and Leslie Grossman.

Ryan also confirmed that the series will take place just “18 months from today,” in October 2019.

Joan Collins plays Evan’s grandmother…You are comedic and will play a hairstylist,” Ryan added about Evan‘s character.

Ryan continued, “It’s not necessarily as real and grounded as the past season. We’re sort of getting back to Asylum, and Coven. That’s the tone of it.”

American Horror Story season 8 is set to begin shooting this June.
