Evan Rachel Wood is getting backlash.
The Westworld actress posted a series of tweets following the basketball star’s death on Sunday (January 26) in a fatal helicopter crash including his daughter, Gianna.

“What has happened is tragic. I am heartbroken for Kobe‘s family. He was a sports hero. He was also a rapist. And all of these truths can exist simultaneously,” she wrote in the first tweet.
“Beloveds, this was not a condemnation or a celebration. It was a reminder that everyone will have different feelings and there is room for us all to grieve together instead of fighting. Everyone has lost. Everyone will be triggered, so please show kindness and respect to all,” she went on to say after her tweets sparked major backlash, as well as praise.
She also retweeted an article, called “Kobe Bryant and Complicated Legacies.”
