Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly hit the red carpet together at the premiere of their new movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday evening (December 2) in Hollywood.
In the sequel to last year’s first installment of The Hobbit series, the dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring.
Orlando reprises his fan favorite role of Legolas from The Lord of the Rings series while Evangeline returns as Tauriel, a character not featured in the book The Hobbit, but created for the film franchise.
FYI: Orlando is wearing head-to-toe Lanvin. Evangeline is wearing a Catherine Deane dress and Brian Atwood shoes.
