Kirsten Dunst & Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons to Topline 'Fargo' Season 2!

Kirsten Dunst will topline season two of Fargo on FX!

The 32-year-old actress will star alongside Breaking Bad‘s Jesse Plemons in the second season as the leading duo, THR reports.

Kirsten will play beautician Peggy Blomquist, who wants to be a Hollywood starlet but is stuck in Minnesota. Jesse will play Ed, Peggy’s husband and a butcher’s assistant who doesn’t understand his wife’s dreams but is still supportive of her.

Kirsten has never starred on a television show as a series regular – she’s done guest stints on ER, Sisters, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Portlandia, among others.

'Fargo' WINS Emmy for Best Miniseries

Fargo was the winner in the Best Miniseries category at the 2014 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday (August 25) in Los Angeles.

The hit series received a whopping 18 nominations this year and it won the award for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Special at last week’s Creative Arts Emmys.

At tonight’s show, the show won Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special for the “Buridan’s Ass” episode. Unfortunately, all four of the nominated actors lost their categories.

DO YOU THINK the right choice for Best Miniseries was Fargo?
