Jason Momoa is hard at work on the upcoming 10th movie in the Fast & Furious franchise!

The 42-year-old actor was spotted with his body double while filming scenes on the Gianicolo on Friday (May 13) in Rome, Italy.

It was recently announced that Justin Lin decided to drop out of the movie right as filming had begun. He has been replaced by Louis Leterrier, who previously directed the first two Transporter movies and 2013′s Now You See Me.

This is Jason‘s first movie in the Fast franchise and he is joined by fellow newcomer Brie Larson.

Sad news for fans of the Fast & Furious franchise – Dwayne Johnson will not be returning for any of the future movies.

The 49-year-old actor confirmed the news earlier this week during an interview with THR while promoting his new Disney film Jungle Cruise.

Dwayne revealed that he’s done with the franchise while discussing his former feud with co-star Vin Diesel. For those who don’t know, Dwayne played Hobbs in Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, and the spin-off movie Hobbs & Shaw.

The new movie F9 features a family dinner as the final scene and Jordana Brewster just revealed some really interesting details about how they filmed that moment.

Without giving away too many spoilers right here, let’s just say that most of the main cast members were part of the scene.

The scene even ends with a nod to the late Paul Walker‘s character Brian O’Connor by leaving an empty chair for him at the table and showing his car pulling up to the house.
