Ellen DeGeneres is currently in talks to reprise her iconic role of Dory in the upcoming sequel to Finding Nemo!
The 54-year-old talk show host will bring everyone’s favorite blue tang fish back to the big screen if the deal goes through. Finding Nemo 2 will be helmed by the original’s co-director Andrew Stanton and is projected to be released in 2016, according to THR.

A sequel to the beloved Disney/Pixar film Finding Nemo is in the works with the original’s director Andrew Stanton set to return for another feature, according to Deadline.
Finding Nemo will also be re-released in theaters on September 14 in Disney Digital 3D.
“It’s exciting. Very exciting. Not as exciting as a sequel would be but still,” Ellen DeGeneres, who voiced everyone’s favorite Royal Blue Tang fish Dory in the original flick, previously said about the re-release.
