The 35-year-old actress – who’s expecting her second child – enjoyed a day out with hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. and their 2-year-old daughter Charlotte.

The CW recently announced that Sarah‘s drama, Ringer, won’t be renewed for a second season.

You can still catch SMG on the small screen – in animated form – when she lends her voice to an upcoming episode of The Simpsons.

“Moonshine River” is slated to air this fall as part of the show’s 24th season, featuring voices also from Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, and Sarah Silverman.

The CW show premiered last September to ratings of 2.8 million, but slipped down to 1.2 million by the season finale.

However, despite the sad news, Sarah and hubby Freddie Prince Jr. are reportedly expecting their second child.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. might be expanding their family!

A source tells Us Weekly the 35-year-old Ringer star is expecting her second child.

“She and Freddie are thrilled. They’re amazing parents,” a friend told the mag.

SMG and Freddie, who met on the set of 1997′s I Know What You Did Last Summer, wed in 2002. They are already parents to daughter Charlotte, who turns 3 in September.

A rep for both Sarah and Freddie had “no comment”.

Freddie Prinze Jr. is returning to the small screen!

The 36-year-old actor, who previously appeared on 24, has signed on for NBC’s untitled comedy pilot from Community writer Hilary Winston.

The show “revolves around Agnes (7th Heaven‘s Sarah Wright), a shy, focused woman who, after being dumped by her fiance (Prinze), leans on her co-workers (played by Mena Suvari, Aubrey Dollar, and Kyle Howard) to help come out of her shell and plot her revenge,” TV Line reports.

Sarah Michelle Gellar picks up her adorable 2-year-old daughter, Charlotte, from ballet class on Monday (December 19) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old Ringer star and her little girl wore matching black boots, which Charlotte paired with a pink tutu.

“Charlotte is my best friend and any free time I have, I want to spend with her. But while it’s easy to forget yourself, I can’t deny myself as only Charlotte‘s mother – one day, she’s going to be an adult, and then where am I?” SMG told Self.

“Like in any other relationship, you have to remember who you are through all this. After she goes to bed at 7:30, I might take a bath or read. And [my husband] Freddie and I get our time together, too. Relationships are like flowers: They need attention to grow and develop,” she added.
