Oprah Winfrey meets up with her pal, director Ava DuVernay, at the premiere of Netflix’s documentary 13th during the opening night of the 2016 New York Film Festival on Friday night (September 30) in New York City.
Ava directed the film, which explores the racial inequality in the justice system. It is the first non-fiction film to ever open the festival!
The 33-year-old Empire actress opened up about how she never learned to ride a bike.
“It’s my parents, they didn’t love me enough to teach me,” Gabby joked. “I got a bicycle with wheels on them but the same week my brother lost his bike so they took off the training wheels on them so he could ride it but never put them back on so I could learn.”
Gabby did say she can ride a tricycle though, so Harry decided to have some fun by racing each other down a NYC street. Watch below!
