Sophie Turner Talks About That Big 'Game of Thrones' Reunion (Spoilers)

SPOILER ALERT! Don’t continue reading if you don’t want to know what happened on tonight’s Game of Thrones.

The latest episode of Game of Thrones wrapped up on HBO just a few minutes ago and Sophie Turner is speaking about that emotional Stark reunion between Sansa and Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

If you didn’t know, Sansa and Jon have not been in a scene together in years, since the very first episode.

“It’s such an emotional moment,” Sophie told EW. “She finally made it to Castle Black. And there’s this look where they’re just studying each other’s faces, with no expression. Then there’s this long embrace. It’s just awesome.”

“I’m most excited for the fact I get to see Kit and get to act with him,” Sophie said about filming season six. “Kit is one of my best mates and we had just one scene together in the pilot, where we’re waiting on the king. It’s like working with an older brother. I’ve watched his work over the past four years and I think he’s amazing. He’s so focused and dedicated.”

“People can kind of assume that Sansa’s very much like her mother and her mother wasn’t very fond of Jon,” Sophie added. “But Sansa is also different from her mother so she tries her best. She’s been through so much…She knows Jon is her older brother and Davos is older and wiser, but she’s probably been through more than both of them. She’s not just going to go along with other people’s decisions.”

'Game of Thrones' Author George R.R. Martin Offers 6th Book Status Update & New Excerpt!

George R.R. Martin just released a new sample from his upcoming book The Winds of Winter, which is the sixth book in the Game of Thrones seven book series!

HBO’s hit series had been modeled after each of the five previous books for the first several seasons, but this current season is the first that is actually ahead of the book series, as the sixth book has no set release date.

To those fans who believe the sample indicates the book will be out soon, George has a message: “And no, just to spike any bullsh*t rumors, changing the sample chapter does NOT mean I am done…Monkey is still on my back…but he’s growing, he is, and one day…”

The 6th season of Game of Thrones is currently airing on HBO every Sunday evening.

Spoilers! Don’t continue reading if you don’t already know the fate of Jon Snow, Kit Harington‘s character in Game of Thrones.

Kit Harington explained how Game of Thrones producers kept his secret return a giant secret.

For months, the 29-year-old actor denied that his character was still alive in a huge press tour for the show’s sixth season.

Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss did not ever list Jon Snow’s name in the season six scripts, rather using the initials “LC,” standing for “Lord Commander,” to indicate his character.

“No one was allowed to say ‘Jon Snow’ on set, ever, everyone had to refer to me as ‘LC,’” Kit told EW. The exception was when characters would speak Jon Snow’s name during a scene.

Kit revealed that he has a very large role this season on the show.

Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, has opened up about that shocking moment at the end of tonight’s episode!

“Sorry!” the 29-year-old actor told EW. “I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead.’ But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which means something I’m doing — or the show is doing — is right.”
