Some of Hollywood’s best and brightest stars walked the red carpet at the world premiere of The Color Purple on Wednesday night (December 6) in Los Angeles.

The movie’s stars – including Fantasia Barrino, Taraji P. Henson, Halle Bailey, Ciara and H.E.R. -arrived at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures dressed in their chicest outfits.

They were joined by so many other celebrities, who showed support at the big event. The guestlist included Oprah Winfrey (who acted as a producer for the movie), Ariana DeBose, Chloe Bailey, Quinta Brunson and so many others.

Tyler Perry revealed that he is “single” in a new Instagram post that had fans thirsting after him.

Now, there’s a bit of a follow up about his split from his partner Gelila Bekele, which was news to the world.

According to People, the couple “amicably split some time ago and remain close friends.”

“Their focus is on being the best parents they can for their son,” the insider added. The couple are parents to Aman Tyler, who was born in late 2014.

“This is what a midlife crisis looks like. I’m 51, single and wondering what the next chapter in my life will look like,” Tyler posted earlier, revealing the news. “Whatever it looks like I’m going to walk with God, be the best father and man I can be, hold my head up high, and try to look my best doing it!! In a world with so much sadness, please try and stay in the good! Merry Christmas and let’s look forward to 2021 bringing us peace!”

Tyler Perry and his longtime girlfriend Gelila Bekele welcomed a baby boy named Aman Tyler Perry!

The 45-year-old actor and director and his 28-year-old girlfriend brought the baby into the world this past Sunday (November 30).

“Mom and baby are happy and healthy. Tyler is so excited,” a source told People about the new addition.

“He’s over the moon. He sees this as an opportunity to make things right,” the source added, in reference to Tyler‘s own relationship with his dad.

Tyler Perry is reportedly expecting his first child with his on-and-off girlfriend Gelila Bekele.

“He is thrilled and over the moon,” a source told Gossip Cop.

Gelila is an Ethiopian model who is seven months pregnant right now, according to some reports. She has been dating Tyler for more than three years.

This will be the first child for both of them!

“I know I would be a great father,” Tyler said last year on The Steve Harvey Show. “I don’t want to work this hard. I don’t want to have all of this and not leave it to my children,” he added.
