George Eads Set to Exit 'MacGyver' After Three Seasons

George Eads is taking an early exit from MacGyver, according to THR.

The 51-year-old actor is set to depart the cast of the CBS drama after three seasons, which he has co-starred since the pilot.

Sources say that George allegedly had an altercation and stormed off the show’s Atlanta set back in October. He still had several remaining hours of production remaining for the day.

George is currently in production on the show but his character will be written out.

He reportedly had been asking to be let go from the series so he could spend more time with his young daughter in Los Angeles.

George‘s final episode is slated to air sometime in 2019.

It was just announced that George Eads won’t be returning for the sixteenth season of CSI!

The 47-year-old actor played Nick Stokes since the pilot and becomes the latest original member to exit the show since Paul Guilfoyle, who left last year after 14 seasons.

Sources shared to THR that George‘s exit was an amicable one, despite taking a break from the show last year following an on-set conflict with one of the writers.

George and CBS have stayed mum on the news.
