President George H.W. Bush was recently admitted into a hospital in Maine.
The 93-year-old former president’s spokesperson Jim McGrath revealed on Twitter on Sunday morning (May 27) that George was admitted for issues related to low blood pressure and fatigue.
“President @GeorgeHWBush was taken to Southern Maine Health Care (@SMHCHealth) today after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue. He will likely remain there for a few days for observation. The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort,” Jim tweeted.
Just last month, George‘s wife of 73 years Barbara Bush sadly passed away at the age of 92.
Get well soon, Mr. President!
