The Spice Girls: The Final Show

The Spice Girls wrapped up the final show of their world tour. Here’s their farewell message from their official blog:

“Our time is up… we’ve come to the end of the road… there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we’ve come!

Who would have thought that our reunion could have turned out to be this amazing? It just shows what can grow out of an exciting thought, an idea, a hope, a dream. Yes, our reunion tour is proof that dreams do come true.

We have been lucky enough to have shared it with the most loyal fans in the world. Ten years on, you came back still wanting more… and it looks like we made some new friends along the way. You have inspired and ignited us with each show, the 47 that we performed, each time was amazing and it is thanks to you.

So we look to the future with hope and imagination and let Girl Power live on through all of you as it will continue in us and the future generations to come.

We have learnt so much through you and through each other.

“Never give up on the good times always believe in the love you find.”

We hate goodbyes but sadly the time has come to take our final bow so maybe our song says it best:

“Goodbye my friend, it’s not the end… So glad we made it, time will never ever change it… “

Mission Accomplished…

Love

Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria

Cruz Beckham Breakdances Onstage at Final Spice Girls Concert

Cruz Beckham is a Breakdancing Boy

David and Victoria Beckham‘s son, Cruz Beckham (he turns 3 on Wednesday!), steals the show as the Spice Girls perform “Mama” at Madison Square Garden Monday night.

B-BOY Cruz Beckham breaks it down and starts breakdancing for the entire arena!!! Spins on his head, flips, and turns–the whole shebang. The audience goes absolutely nuts and Cruz continues to ham it up with his hiddent talents!!!

Older brothers, Brooklyn, 8, and Romeo, 5, looks a wee bit jealous as they watch lil’ Cruz breakdancing up a storm.

All of the other Spice Kids were up on stage as well including Emma Bunton‘s son, Beau Lee, 6 months, Melanie Brown‘s daughter Angel Iris, 10 months, and Geri Halliwell‘s daughter, Bluebell Madonna, 21 months. Watch the video below!!

Geri Halliwell: Seal You're Be There

While in Boston last week, Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, took daughter Bluebell, 21 months, and some of the other Spice kids to the New England Aquarium where they all had a great time.

As well as being given a guided tour of the aquarium, they got to feed some of the sea life. And judging by this picture from TheSpiceGirls.com, it isn’t only humans that are big fans of the Spice Girls. Chucky the seal got in on the act giving Geri a big kiss on the cheek – awwww. Maybe he thought she was Geri Halibut?

Spice Girls Tour CANCELED

The Spice Girls just announced that they’re cutting their world tour short!

They have dropped Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina, reportedly because of poor ticket sales.

Here’s their official statement: “Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!”

The girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”

Geri Halliwell: It's All About the Free Clothes

Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell just wrote a blog about her experience walking the runway at the Roberto Cavalli fashion show! Check it:

“Hello,

So, Spice Girls have gone all fashionista darlings!!!

It’s been wonderful collaborating with Roberto Cavalli on our tour wardrobe. We went to the his Menswear fashion show on Monday. They flew us over in a private jet; it was so fun and glamourous, and the clothes were gorgeous.

Okay, I have to be honest. I was hoping to check out the eye candy and stare at hot male models but they weren’t my cup of tea. I like my man to have bit more meat on his bones.

Anyway, it was a laugh hanging with the girls. We got some free clothes from Roberto, which is always nice. I’m grateful I got a snuggly coat which I can wear in New York. We are off shortly to the east coast of the USA with the tour.

It’s all going so quickly. We have four gigs left at The O2 and then it’s Manchester. God, this is the last time the Brits will get to see the Spiceys. I am trying to enjoy every last minute. In fact, I did the splits on stage last night, in the “Go Geri” moment. It made the girls laugh.

Geri xx”
