David, who hosted the event, was joined at the event by Judith Light, La La Anthony, Nigel Barker and his wife Cristen.

“Just went to the @PointFoundation Awards hosted by the magnetic @davidburtka,” Neil wrote on his Twitter account. “Great night, amazing organization. Check it out.”

The event raised money for the Point Foundation, which empowers change through LGBTQ leadership and education.

Neil Patrick Harris and his fiance David Burtka carry their 1-year-old twins Gideon and Harper off of a private yacht while vacationing on Thursday (August 2) in Saint-Tropez, France.

The 38-year-old How I Met Your Mother star, in town to guest co-host Live! With Kelly, hailed a cab with partner David Burtka, who held onto Gideon‘s twin sis, Harper.

“Truly sorry for saying the word ‘tranny’ on Live this week. Twice! Should have been more thoughtful. Didn’t at all mean to offend,” NPH tweeted the day before.

The remark came on Thursday’s show when Neil inhaled sulfur hexafluoride (“helium’s evil twin”) during a science segment that lowered his voice.

“Put the lotion in the basket,” NPH said after realizing he sounded like Silence of the Lambs‘ Buffalo Bill.

“I’ve never sounded more like a tranny in my life,” he later said after his voice returned to normal.
