Giuliana Rancic‘s comments about Zendaya‘s hair at the 2015 Oscars have caused a ton of controversy and now, it turns out, there was more to Giuliana‘s comments than what originally aired on Fashion Police.

In the full clip, viewed by People, the 40-year-old Fashion Police correspondent started out her critique of Zendaya by saying her hair looked “really heavy – it overwhelms her, and it’s just too boho.” She then reportedly made a peace sign symbol, before saying, “Zendaya is more high-fashion. The hair to me on her is making her a little more boho. Like I feel like she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed.”

Giuliana has since apologized for her comments and Zendaya accepted her apology.

Sharon Osbourne Addresses Kelly's Threats to Quit 'Fashion Police' Over Zendaya Controversy

Sharon Osbourne is addressing her daughter Kelly‘s tweets that said she is considering quitting Fashion Police after the controversy between Giuliana Rancic and Zendaya.

“I think that her apology was very sincere…We all make mistakes on TV. I put my foot in my mouth so many times. She fessed up…She owned it…I shouldn’t talk for Kelly. She’s a 30-year-old woman, but at the time that the show was aired, people were saying that it was Kelly and Giuliana,” Sharon said on The Talk on Wednesday (February 25).

“So Kelly was getting a lot of hate tweets and it was badly reported on social media…she just said, ‘Hey, not me, don’t pull me into this.’ Zendaya is a friend of Kelly’s and she never would condone that. We all make mistakes. She’s learned from hers. Now, maybe now I’ll learn from mine,” she added. Watch below…

Zendaya Forgives Giuliana Rancic For Oscars Hairstyle Comments

Zendaya has accepted Giuliana Rancic‘s apology after she made offensive comments about her 2015 Oscars hairstyle.

“Studies have shown that even though we try to act without prejudice, sometimes it’s just hidden inside us due to our past or surrounding. That hidden prejudice is often influential in our actions. it’s our job to spot these issues within others and ourselves and destroy them before they become hurtful. I have so many people looking up to me, that I couldn’t be scared, wait it out, nor could I just stand up for me; I had to do it for WE. It is in important in this journey, to remember that just because someone has inflicted hurt upon us, it does not give us the right to do the same,” the 18-year-old actress shared on Instagram.

Zendaya continued, “Body shaming and other hurtful tactics will never get the job done. As hard as it was to stop MYSELF from being ignorant and from posting the first mean words that came to my mind because I was hurt, I had to think about the bigger picture. Instead, I sat for two hours on my phone, doing my research and formulating an educated response.

Giuliana, I appreciate your apology and I’m glad it was a learning experience for you and for the network. I hope thatothers negatively affected by her words can also find it in their hearts to accept her apology as well. From a quote we all know by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., ‘Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out have; only love can do that.’ Let’s be that light and spread that love.”

Giuliana Rancic Apologizes to Zendaya Live on Air for Offensive Comments About Her Dreadlocks (Video)

Giuliana Rancic is taking responsibility for offensive comments she made about Zendaya‘s hair on E’s Fashion Police following the 2015 Oscars.

The 40-year-old television personality apologized during a brief E! News segment, which you can watch below.

“I’d really like to address something that’s weighing really heavy on my heart. I want to apologize for a comment that I made on last night’s Fashion Police about Zendaya‘s hair,” she said. “As you know, Fashion Police is a show that pokes fun at celebrities in good spirit, but I do realize that something I said last night did cross the line.”

Giuliana continued, “I just want everyone to know that I didn’t intend to hurt anybody, but I learned it’s not my intent that matters. It’s the result. And the result is people are offended, including Zendaya. And that is not OK. Therefore, I want to say to Zendaya, and anyone else out there that I hurt, that I’m so sincerely sorry. This really has been a learning experience for me. I learned a lot today and this incident has taught me to be a lot more aware of cliches and stereotypes, and how much damage they can do. And that I am responsible, as we all are, to not perpetuate them further. Thank you for listening.”

Zendaya took to social media last night to explain her thoughts on Giuliana‘s offensive comments. Her friend Kelly Osbourne later threatened to leave Fashion Police if it didn’t get resolved.
