Steve Aoki Reveals New Details About Collaborations With BTS & Bella Thorne!

Steve Aoki is opening up about his highly anticipated collaboration with K-pop superstar troupe BTS!

The 39-year-old “Just Hold On” producer revealed that he’s working on a track that the group recorded in Korea.

“I’m working on a song that they did in Korea that they asked me to remix and change up the beat and make it my own. It’s an incredible song. The guys are so talented and it’s a pleasure to work with them and their team. I’m excited about that project,” he told Hollywood Life.

As for a release date? “The song is going to drop soon!” he teased.

But wait, there’s more: Steve is also working on a track with Bella Thorne!

“It’s going to be a part of my next album. Neon Future 3 will be coming out next year and she’ll be featured on a song that we worked on together,” he revealed, calling her “incredible.” Exciting!

“DNA” rose to No. 67 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, officially beating the Wonder Girls‘ previous record with “Nobody” in 2009, which peaked at No. 76.

The massively successful seven-member troupe just notched yet another accomplishment by becoming the most followed act in and from Korea on Twitter, with over 8.73 million followers – and rapidly growing!

The boys narrowly slid past BIGBANG‘s hugely popular member G-Dragon over the weekend.

The news comes soon after the boys made history with their latest album Love Yourself: Her, which debuted within the Top 10 in the Billboard 200 – a first for a Korean pop act.

BTS Enters Billboard 200 Album Chart & Makes History!

BTS is breaking records again, all thanks to their A.R.M.Y!

The seven-member Billboard Music Award-winning group just became the first K-pop artists to debut on the Billboard 200 album chart in the top 10!

BTS‘ album Love Yourself: Her hit the charts at an incredible number 7!

This also means the group has the highest-charting album ever on the Billboard 200 by a K-pop act and marks the genre’s biggest sales week.

In addition to their record breaking album, their single “DNA” also just entered the Hot 100 at number 85.

The 21-year-old Korean pop sensation made the surprising revelation during the group’s MNET comeback special Comeback Show DNA, which aired on Thursday (September 21).

“There were many people who opposed me,” Jimin revealed during the special according to AllKPop.

Other members soon chimed in to confirm: “He almost got cut two days before our official debut.”

“But BTS is complete because of me,” he added. “After I left everything behind and moved up to Seoul from Busan, I struggled and was scared because I didn’t know how I’ll end up.”

As of the album’s release on Monday, Love Yourself: Her has topped the iTunes album charts at No. 1 in a whopping 73 countries, which is the largest debut number for any South Korean artist according to the group’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment.

Lead single “DNA” also debuted at No. 4 in the United States, as well as hitting the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 29 countries.

Plus, with physical orders being tracked for the first time in North America, the group is anticipated to make their highest debut yet on the Billboard charts.

And that’s not all: the music video for “DNA” already has 20 million views in less than 24 hours, making it the fastest K-Pop video of all time to do so.
