George Clooney and Amal Clooney hit the red carpet on a rainy Sunday (December 3) at the premiere of his new movie The Boys in the Boat held at Curzon Cinema Mayfair in London.

The 62-year-old actor carried an umbrella for the couple as they stepped out in the rain for the event.

Stars of the movie, Joel Edgerton, Callum Turner and Bruce Herbelin-Earle also hit the carpet, along with producer Grant Heslov and Amal‘s mom Baria Alamuddin.

The Boys in the Boat is “about the 1936 University of Washington rowing team that competed for gold at the Summer Olympics in Berlin. This inspirational true story follows a group of underdogs at the height of the Great Depression as they are thrust into the spotlight and take on elite rivals from around the world.”

George serves as director on the film, which is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th. Check out the trailer here!

George Clooney happily poses alongside his co-star Grant Heslov while attending the FYC red carpet event for his new Hulu series Catch-22 held at the Saban Media Center on Wednesday (May 8) in North Hollywood, Calif.

The 58-year-old actor-director was also joined at the event by cast mates Christopher Abbott and Kyle Chandler, as well as writer Luke Davis, executive producer Richard Brown and director-producer Ellen Kuras.

“Chris came in and read, and within the first three lines it was clear that he was our man,” George said in a statement in praise of Chris (via Vanity Fair). “He’s clearly a gifted actor. He has the ability to do both comedy and drama effortlessly, which doesn’t often happen.”

“More importantly, he has a unique quality that makes you root for him,” George added. “That’s not something that can be learned—either you have it or you don’t. And he has it.”

That same evening, Kyle made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and talked about the insane rain they had on his ranch in Texas, visiting colleges with his daughter, playing football in high school, and shooting Catch 22 with George in Italy.

George Clooney suits up for the premiere of his new movie Our Brand Is Crisis at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (October 26) in Hollywood.

The 54-year-old actor was joined by his lovely wife Amal at the event.

George is one of the producers on the film and his partner Grant Heslov was also in attendance.

Our Brand Is Crisis is about an American woman (Sandra Bullock), well-versed in political campaigns, who is sent to the war-torn lands of South America to help install a new leader but is threatened to be thwarted by a long-term rival.

FYI: Amal is wearing a Roland Mouret dress and carrying a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.

Matt Damon carries a suitcase as he heads to board his private plane at Lugano Airport on Sunday (May 12) in Lugano, Switzerland.

The 42-year-old actor was joined on the flight by his pal George Clooney and Argo producer Grant Heslov.

Later that day after landing, George was spotted taking his motorcycle for a joy ride around Lake Como, Italy.
