Here’s what the 28-year-old Girl On The Train star had to share with the mag:
On getting mistakenly recognized as Jennifer Lawrence: “I like the idea of having a superordinary life. I joke around all the time that I get recognized — but I get recognized as Jennifer Lawrence. It’s really kind of awkward when I have to disappoint everybody that I’m actually not her.”
On her The Girl on the Train role being the most difficult thing she’s ever done: “I bared a lot for the role, and very little of it was my body. [Becoming that character] was a disorienting experience, and I felt scared, vulnerable, and really exposed. At the same time, I felt weirdly like I was being judged in a certain way. You kind of want to go on set and say, ‘I’m not really like this. I just want you to know that I’m so different than this.’ So I’m happy that Girl on the Train isn’t the only film that I have emerging, that there’s a bigger picture.”
