The winner of The Bachelorette, Jed Wyatt, was discovered to have a girlfriend named Haley Stevens during filming and he was subsequently dumped by Hannah Brown after their engagement.

Now, Haley is reacting to the drama that unfolded on ABC during The Bachelorette finale.

Haley said she has “thought about Hannah every single day.”

“It’s heartbreaking for her. And it makes me sad that this made her sad. I’ve had the opportunity to take ownership for what I did wrong. I should have had a higher standard for the things I wanted,” Haley told People about being okay with Jed going on the show despite them being in a relationship. “And if I had known this would go so far, I would have said, this is unacceptable. This was supposed to be Hannah’s love story.”

She continued, “I don’t know if there is anyone in the country who can sympathize with her like I can. I know how it feels to be blindsided. And I will never be in that situation again.”

“I will never be in that situation again,” Haley added. “Let’s just say, we’ve all learned a lesson!”

Bachelorette contestant Jed Wyatt, who is still in the running to win at the end and propose to Hannah Brown, is involved in more drama after it was revealed that he went on the show to further his music career while having a girlfriend, Haley Stevens, back at home.

Haley went on the Reality Steve podcast with host Steve Carbone, who told Haley he had spoken to a woman who claimed she slept with Jed while they were dating.

“She showed me everything…this was I believe 10 days before you left for the Bahamas [on vacation with Jed], he slept with another woman,” Steve told Haley. “And I have the text messages to prove it.”

“Were you not aware that Jed was with another woman, 10 days before he went to the Bahamas with you?” Steve asked Haley.

“Nope,” she said in response. “I can only deal with so many things at one time. It’s a lot to tackle. To watch it play out on TV and also, like here, you know?”

The Bachelorette return on Monday night with an all new episode on ABC.

Jed Wyatt was already four months into a relationship before he left to join the cast of The Bachelorette, according to his alleged ex, Nashville musician Haley Stevens.

“We spent the night together the night before he headed to L.A. He told me [the show] was just an obstacle and we’d be stronger on the other side because of it,” the 26-year-old artist told People in the latest issue out on Friday (June 21).

“He told me [early on] that he had applied. He said, ‘It’s probably not going to happen, but it’s a huge opportunity. I’m only doing this for my music.’ He only did it for his career,” she added.
