Chris Evans and Jenny Slate make their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of her animated film The Secret Life of Pets on Saturday morning (June 25) in New York City.
The 35-year-old actor brought along his nephews to the event and he raved about the film on Twitter. “The Secret Life of Pets was fantastic! @jennyslate was a personal favorite. @KevinHart4real was hilarious too. Be sure to check it out!!” he tweeted.
Jenny also gushed about her hot new man in an interview at the event.
“I haven’t really had a large premiere before, so it’s nice to have someone who knows how it goes,” she told ET. “It’s kind of like I got my dream 7th grade boyfriend.”
“We didn’t know each other growing up, but we grew up about half an hour away from each other,” she added. “We’ve been friends for a while, and, yeah.”
Jenny was joined at the premiere by her co-stars Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell (with husband Scott Campbell), Kevin Hart, Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Hannibal Burress, and Bobby Moynihan.
