Zachary Quinto Will Be on the 'Hannibal' Season 3 Premiere

Zachary Quinto is all smiles while walking around town with a female friend on Friday (May 22) in the East Village neighborhood of New York City.

The 37-year-old actor is going to guest star in the upcoming third season of NBC’s Hannibal and his first appearance will reportedly be in the season premiere.

The press release for the episode, airing June 4, notes that “glimpses into the past help inform [Hannibal's] relationship with Bedelia, a pairing not clearly defined as friend or foe.”

A fan site for the show notes that Zachary is going to be playing a patient of Bedelia’s and most likely will be featured in the flashbacks.

NBC Cancels 'Community' & 'Revolution,' Renews 'Hannibal' & 'About a Boy'

NBC has officially renewed Hannibal and About a Boy, Deadline reports.

However, the network did also deliver some sad news. Revolution, the JJ Abrams/Eric Kripke drama, will unfortunately not be getting a third season. Community will also not be returning after five seasons on the air. Community is a fan favorite show, and will certainly cause some blowback. Jamie Chung‘s Believe also did not make the cut.

About a Boy has been averaging a 2.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.3 million viewers, so it was no surprise that the show got a second season.

Hannibal has been doing okay in the ratings, and will premiere its third season next year.

WHAT DO YOU THINK of all the pickups and renewals??
